   We had the salmon dip appetizer, followed by two shrimp and grits and one grilled trout entrees . All were ample servings and tasty.

   The waitress was professional and gave good suggestions to accommodate my dietary needs. We've never had an issue here. Good food and good times!

   Food and service were great. I have always appreciated how mgmt helps with tables and are not above getting whatever is needed. I like the team effort.

   We go to South City Kitchen on almost every Anniversary celebration. Food is Southern style and service is excellent. There is a high noise level that can be irritating. There was a sales pitch going on at an adjacent table repeat with with a video on a laptop. The rude customer held the table for 90 minutes after their dinner was finished. Advertising “office casual” but baseball caps and collar-less shirts were in abundance. Go at your own risk of being disappointed.

   My side dishes were cold. The plate looked as if it was thrown together vs carefully plated.

   Overall a consistently good dining experience. Misses were no olives in the martinis consumed and the mussels were a little long in the tooth which surprised me on a Friday night however great greeting and service tableside caused us to overlook the minor glitches. Will be back.

    Enjoyed Sunday brunch to celebrate birthday. Restaurant prepared menu with name of birthday girl, a special touch. Food was served promptly after ordering, was hot, and delicious. Server was very friendly.
