Le Sole Restaurant et bar à vin se trouve dans un bâtiment datant de 150 ans à Seagram, à quelques minutes à l'ouest du Waterloo Uptown Core. L'intérieur conduit à 2 étages jusqu'à un plafond avec une charpente en bois, des poutres apparentes et de généreuses finitions en bois, pour une expérience élégante et décontractée. Le menu transportera votre palais en Méditerranée. Vous pourrez apprécier entre autres des pizzas à la croûte fine, des pâtes, des plats principaux végétariens ou des steaks. Une grande carte des vins, une belle sélection de Scotch, ainsi que des bières à la pression viendront accompagner votre expérience culinaire. Le service est professionnel et amical. Le Sole a hâte de vous accueillir pour une expérience gastronomique complète. En été, il vous sera possible de déguster vos repas à l'extérieur sur la terrasse chauffée.

Hadn't been to Sole in years, and first time on patio. Great venue, and quality food at reasonable prices.

Our table of 4 really enjoyed the meal we ordered including the Bavarian meat and cheese app and our YELLOWFIN TUNA NIÇOISE and FRESCA SALMON SALAD and FILET MIGNON and TED'S CHICKEN PIADINA SANDWICH entrees. The server was prompt and courteous and the manager even checked in to see how our experience was going!

Nothing better than sitting on the outdoor patio with the sun shining and delicious food. Our server, Heidi was very welcoming, helpful with food choices and pleasant. We tried the mushroom pizza and sweet potato lasagne which were mouth watering. Will be back again.

Fans of downtown Waterloo, rejoice ! 9 minute walk from the Princess Theatre, etc. excellent staff and space with simple tasty meals of quality.

Great space and great food with a nice GF and Plant-based menu option to choose from. The sweet potato lasagna was to die for!

Great meal. The steak was cooked to perfection. My friend had the short ribs and it was very delicious. We started our meal with steak tartar the perfect appetizer. The patio is one of my favourite in the city. All around a perfect evening.

It was quite loud for a large group at a long table . One server was pleasant and the other was not as friendly. One person in our group asked if there was any bread and she was told that you do not offer bread service. The server did say she would bring bread but my friend did not understand there would be a charge. 4 servings of bread arrived which some of us didn’t order so we were surprised that there was a charge on the bill. When we mentioned it to server she seemed annnoyed and said she would speak to manager. There were 9 of us with drinks and bottles of wine ordered so we did spend a fair amount that might. We felt we could have been treated more graciously about the bread. The other incident was there was a bottle of wine ordered that was not left on the table. It was removed and kept around the corner out of sight . We did not think this was appropriate. The other 2 bottles were left on the table. Overall food was fine but we have had better service at other visits. More than one staff reminded us that in future the bread is not free.

We were greeted with a smile at the door and shown to our table. Our server, Heidi, was there promptly, took our drink order and outlined any specials. Heidi was friendly and efficient. A great selection of menu and drink choices. Our meals arrived and were perfection. Hot, beautifully presented, just the right portion and delicious. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to chat and enjoy our meal.
