Le Sole Restaurant et bar à vin se trouve dans un bâtiment datant de 150 ans à Seagram, à quelques minutes à l'ouest du Waterloo Uptown Core. L'intérieur conduit à 2 étages jusqu'à un plafond avec une charpente en bois, des poutres apparentes et de généreuses finitions en bois, pour une expérience élégante et décontractée. Le menu transportera votre palais en Méditerranée. Vous pourrez apprécier entre autres des pizzas à la croûte fine, des pâtes, des plats principaux végétariens ou des steaks. Une grande carte des vins, une belle sélection de Scotch, ainsi que des bières à la pression viendront accompagner votre expérience culinaire. Le service est professionnel et amical. Le Sole a hâte de vous accueillir pour une expérience gastronomique complète. En été, il vous sera possible de déguster vos repas à l'extérieur sur la terrasse chauffée.

Another lovely dinner at Sole. Service was good, Emily was friendly, checked back to our table, worked to get everything out quickly. We were not in a hurry, still appreciated her efforts. Short Ribs were very good, nice portion and served hot. I've had it before with red pepper polenta, which was very good. This time, disapointed there is not polenta or a starch, as the "smear" of carrot, ginger and paprika puree was lost under the meat. Would have liked a bit of roasted veg such as carrots or brocolli or sprouts. Would still recommend the Short Ribs. Tiger Shrimp Mafaldine was one of the best dishes I have had at Sole as well as at several restaurants I visited recently in downtown TO. It was hot, pasta was just right, generous portion of shrimp. Nice flavour punch from the roasted tomatoe cream sauce, not spicy, very flavourful. Recommend the Tiger Shrimp. VERY good.

Went to Sole for the first time since the new menu and renovations. LOVED IT! I had the salmon and my husband had the filet mignon. Both were exceptional. The service was also amazing! She came by just enough and we also had the manager come by a couple of times also. All good things! Good wine, good food and good ambiance! Will be back

A great experience at Sole from the moment we stepped in the door. The service was attentive and to food was very tasty and the portions were generous. We both had the Sole Caesar salad to start, which is highly recommended. For dinner, one had the roasted chicken, which she loved and I had the smoked chicken Fiorella, full of different tastes and textures for a pasta dish. We finished off with a slice of cheesecake. It was also nice to see more families this time!

An amazing birthday dinner at Sole. The food, ambiance, staff very attentive. Calla our server was personable, attentive. Mushroom pizza was delicious. The sangria was huge and yummy. Beef short ribs falling of the bone and smoked chicken pasta was not too bad, husband found it slight smoky with the bacon but still good. We’ll be back for sure.

Even with the patio now closed, dinner at Sole is always special and this time was no different. After being seated at our favorite table, we started with steak tartare and Caesar salad as appetizers, both beautifully seasoned. As wine we chose Pinot Noir which turned out to be well matched, considering the great body of that grape. Main course was a unanimous choice: the salmon, which had just the right amount of moisture, something which is hard to achieve, but the chef succeeded. And as Pinot Noir goes with almost any food, we did not need to change our drink. As fitting closure we both had creme brulee and capuccino, not a classic evening coffee, but it does gave a smooth balance. All of this experience was enhanced by having Tio as our server, who was truly skillful and gracious. Will be back very soon!
