Had reservation at 8:15 and sat at the bar. when not called after 20 minutes, checked with the hostess who first claimed table wasn't ready and then said that "another" table was open. In fact more than one table was open. Suspect that management instructs hostess not to summon patrons who wait at the bar in timei, hoping that they'll order more drinks. Pretty shoddy practice. Service was slow. 'Had to order a drink twice to get it from the waiter. Waiter said that bread would be "right up", but it did not appear until the food was served. The excuse was that they had to bake more. Food was good.

Waited 20 minutes for table with reservation. Appetizers took over an hour to be served. Nearly 3 hours. Wrong wine brought to table. Thankfully we noticed and sent back. This was also incorrectly put on our bill which we caught. Aside from all that we love the food and the place. But this service should change.

We were seated outside and told there would be a heat lamp near the table. We were seated immediately upon arrival in the outdoor patio area. No one paid attention to us for twenty minutes after being seated. I had to go to the host station and ask them to get someone to pay attention to us. Ten minutes later a bus person showed up and 5 minutes later the waitress who was visibly flustered. She was the single wait staff person responsibie for the entire patio area and (she told us later) three tables inside. It takes two wait staff to handle that patio normally. The bus staff attempted to light the heat lamp but failed. They told us there is one person who knows how to make it work, but that person never showed up. So we sat in the cold, our food came out slowly, and while it was good, the delay, the cold and a general frustration amongst my party set in. Not what I expect for a dinner costing over $350 for 4 people at a restaurant in which we have had much better experiences. If you can’t handle that many guests in September, then scale back to make sure everyone’s experience is excellent.

I was really excited to try Sofia and honestly ended up pretty disappointed. The crackers on the cheese plate tasted stale. The gnocchi with Alfredo tasted like cream of spinach soup, I took two bites. My espresso martini lacked flavor and as someone who has bartended before I don’t know how you screw up an espresso martini. When we made the reservation we marked that it was for our anniversary and not one staff member even mentioned it. I don’t think we’ll be returning which is a shame.

Warm welcome, beautiful decor, and friendly attentive service. We arrived early to enjoy drinks at the bar before being seated for our reservation. The Chilean Sea Bass and Boneless Ribeye dinner specials were delicious. The saganki appetizer was tasty, and tableside flare presentation added to the dining experience. Thank you Sofia's for an enjoyable and memorable time!

We were seated next to the kitchen and while I appreciate that is a table in the restaurant it is not a desirable one. No one wants to see inside the kitchen and have the servers on top of you all night. Orders the pasta with chicken and only came with one 1/2 inch prince of chicken. Waiter spoke to chef and they made good on it. Food was okay but again the table seating can make or break a dinner and in this case it broke it.
