We came for my daughter’s 16th Birthday, which we do every year to celebrate and she and her sisters and grandmother look forward to it. However this year was completely different. We waited over 30 min to be seated for our 7:30 reservation, without any word from front desk, just that our table would be ready soon upon check in. When finally called, they seated us in the back corner of the bar despite our being dressed up and having told the restaurant when reserving that we were there for a special occasion. It just seemed a forced table arrangement, in the loud bar corner with the air conditioner blowing directly over the table and it was near frigid. We sat for another 20 minutes before even being approached to offer drinks. Everything was rushed yet delayed. Although our server, when finally sent to us, was kind and friendly, she was obviously overstressed and overextended. Service was carried out in a haphazardly fashion. We spoke to hostess who was going to speak to manager who then only addressed the cold air situation. The food which was always enjoyable, was meh, with new chef and menu. This is a sad end for us to a long lasting dining tradition at Sofia.

The restaurant is beautiful. Loved the decor. Our server was attentive and professional. The food was delicious! The appetizer hummus was delicious, and my crab cake was perfect.

Horrible experience. Waitress was extremely rude and our food was overcooked. She said it wasn’t her fault and didn’t ask if I would like to order something else.

We have been going to Sofia’s for many years and have always loved it but the new chef has taken our favorite place and made it that much more amazing . The updated Greek salad and octopus are amazing, the fava bean puree under the octopus is so good, I told them it should be a dip option. The Greek salad is elevated and delicious. We both ordered the specials, my husband the seafood plaki which was delicious, light and flavorful and I had a halibut special which was one of the best pieces of fish I have ever ordered…. I only hope if winds up on the menu so I can order it again. We never usually order dessert but the deconstructed baklava we were told was amazing and it did not disappoint! While we might miss some of our staples that we are used to ordering the new chef and new menu at Sofia’s have won us over completely!

Octopus was terrible, don't order but if you do, only try half a bite or you won't be able to send it back. Disappointing. Still it was nice outside and other appetizers were good.

Arrives and ambience are great. New menu is a bit limited and food was just ok not what was are used to from Sophie’s.
