Le charme d'antan rencontre l'hospitalité de nos jours dans ce beau bâtiment emblématique au bord du lac. Smithville Inn, longtemps fréquenté par les voisins du quartier, présente une cuisine continentale classique primée avec une touche moderne. Presque fermé en 1997, le restaurant a été sauvé grâce à une collaboration entre les familles Coppola et Bushar. Aujourd'hui, le Smithville Inn compte de nouveau parmi les établissements culinaires les plus populaires de la région d'Atlantic City.

Old establishment resting on its laurels. Food was fair; service was slow. Place needs a facelift.

Always good food and was a very nice family get together. It’s a place I take out of town guests.

We had a very enjoyable meal at Smithville. Our waiter, Dom , was the absolute best, very attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our meals; we each had the chicken pot pie, and when we got them, they were huge! Tasty too!

Such a beautiful place! Staff was over the top friendly and welcoming. Drinks were spot on, food was absolutely delicious. Had the corn chowder, pork chop and their famous chicken pot pie. We will definitely be back!

Lovely setting in quaint contained village. Portions large and tasty. Nice view of lake. Service was excellent.

We dine every summer at Smithville Inn and usually enjoy it! Unfortunately this time was an exception. Drinks very good! Entrees were all undercooked which I understand is a tricky process . My scallops were undercooked and the cheese grits was way too cheesy!! Probably better with no cheese. Our friend had undercooked halibut and my wife’s lamb chops were also too rare and were sent back which turned out fine after. We love coming to Smithville Inn(coming from Margate )but a bit disappointed this time….

It was an okay place. I have heard about the place for a long time and decided to try it out for my nephew's birthday. It was a place he had always wanted to try. Well, I don't know what all the HYPE was about. I'm not saying that the food was bad or that the service was horrible. But the food wasn't anything great, I could have gotten anything like it anywhere else. The service, especially since I had let them know it was for a birthday lunch, wasn't at all attentive. We had to flag down the server a few times, and the place wasn't busy. So, all in all, I don't think I will be returning to the Smithville Inn anytime soon.
