Le charme d'antan rencontre l'hospitalité de nos jours dans ce beau bâtiment emblématique au bord du lac. Smithville Inn, longtemps fréquenté par les voisins du quartier, présente une cuisine continentale classique primée avec une touche moderne. Presque fermé en 1997, le restaurant a été sauvé grâce à une collaboration entre les familles Coppola et Bushar. Aujourd'hui, le Smithville Inn compte de nouveau parmi les établissements culinaires les plus populaires de la région d'Atlantic City.

Had a lovely evening at Smithville Inn. We're in town for a golf event and wanted a low key evening together. Were able to make a reservation at the Inn for dinner. When we arrived (we were earlier than our reservation time), we were able to be seated right away. The hostess was friendly and very attentive. The ambiance was very nice, a live piano player added to the atmosphere. (Wonderful job Lenny!) The volume was just perfect to allow for conversation while still enjoying Pop music covers and some light classics. Service from Laura was prompt and attentive. Cocktails were top notch, our appetizer (fried calamari) was delicious, perfect portion to share, lightly breaded and fried, incredibly tender! Entrees were very generously portioned! Blackened tuna cooked perfectly rare and the largest cut of prime rib, also perfectly cooked! (Prime rib only available Fri/sat/sun). The accompaniments were also delicious. The chocolate cake to round out the meal was a delightful finish, light and not overly sweet. Finally, all support staff, bussers, runners were friendly, well dressed and very prompt with service. Overall, a 10/10 evening. We can't wait to return! Thank you Smithville Inn.

This was our 3 year anniversary celebration dinner and what a wonderful day it already was, our waiter, Ryan, made it an amazing night! He was professional, pleasant, friendly, and more impressively, almost like family. He actually enjoyed celebrating with us and that meant the world to us! Highly recommend this restaurant and be sure to request Ryan! You can thank me later!

We had dinner at the Smithville Inn while staying at a bed and breakfast there. Top notch hospitality, incredible food; delicious and good amount. Our server Ryan was the best!

A lovely old inn with excellent service and nice food. My only complaint is that the portion sizes are so large it is hard for a normal human to finish a serving.
