   The Smithville Inn is an icon of Atlantic County! The best restaurant in Historic Smithville, you can wonder through the shops, watch the ducks and swans on the lake and finish the day with an excellent meal at the Inn. We went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. The cocktails were excellent, the shrimp cocktail had the most delicious cocktail sauce, the corn chowder was thick and creamy, the french onion soup was very good, the steak and chicken limon were wonderful. Of course, their signature chicken pot pie was to die for! Our only, very slight disappointment was the crab cakes had a little too much filler and not enough crab. Our server was professional, friendly and attentive. The entire staff was excellent! Their rewards program is a big help, too! I definitely recommend!

   We have never had a bad meal here. The servers are outstanding and the whole atmosphere is terrific. Love, love, love coming here whether it's for lunch or dinner!!

   Great service and great food. Make sure you reserve early, as the tables get filled quickly.

   We got married at Smithville, had our reception at the Inn, and go atleast annually for nearly 20 years. Always an excellent experience, friendly staff, and the food is always second to none!

   We like going by and eating at the bar Chi Chi enjoyed her steak and I, my burger and the bartender was great

   We came for their prime rib special and were not disappointed! The prime rib was tasty, accompanied by a baked potato and string beans. Their take on French Onion Soup covered in frizzled onions ( a favorite of ours) was our starter. We closed the meal with their Peanut Butter Bomb which was to die for. Service was excellent! The staff was friendly and efficient. This is one of the few restaurants I’ve been to recently that rather than offering you boxes for leftovers, actually packed it up for you. The Smithville Inn is too far from home to go to regularly, but if we lived closer, we would be regulars!

   Excellent meal, service and food. Waitress was attentive to the table. Tasted the chicken pot pie and the pesto chicken pasta which both were cooked to perfection and flavors were married together well. Will be back for sure!

    I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The brussel sprouts and calamari were absolutely delicious. The cocktails were very good. Our server Dom was fantastic. Unfortunately the prime rib was only ok. So for me the meal missed the mark slightly but I think it was just a 1 time thing because their food is always awesome. A 4 this time but you can usually count on a 5 experience
