Priding ourselves on our motto ‘Famous for fish’ Smiths Restaurants is a name that has become synonymous with fine dining and quality, attentive service. Our restaurants are located in Ongar Essex (just off the A414) and Wapping in central London (near Tower Bridge). Both restaurants boast an extensive menu of fresh fish that we offer to cook in a variety of ways to suit every palette. We also offer locally sourced meat dishes to accommodate those who prefer their food terra firma. To compliment the quality of our food we have worked closely with well renowned independent wine merchants to ensure we have a selection of wines that are the perfect accompaniment to every meal. The only problem you may have a Smith’s is being spoilt for choice.

Highly recommend. Lovely anniversary meal High quality cookery and service. Extensive menu options at reasonable prices.. A definite go to for special occasions

The staff were fantastic as always. Not in your face but there when needed Food always arrives at the same time with a waiter per person. Excellent food and choice.

Been several times. Food Drink service all excellent and great value was let down today, and seen same comments before elsewhere, by the noise it’s a very busy restaurant but it’s so difficult to have a conversation as it is very loud in the restaurant Despite that still very enjoyable as always

Great food but felt slightly rushed / their was six of us on the table which takes a while for everyone to choose, chat, eat chat etc going out to eat is about the good food but also about the company and having time to enjoy experience
