Smith’s Bar & Grill is nestled in Paddington, London, it is the first place you see when you walk under the bypass behind Paddington Station.

Known for its high ceilings and almost full-length windows, the natural light in Smith’s is just as nourishing and wholesome as the comfortable furnishings and exquisite selection of food and drink that we serve.

The venue is split into the areas:
• Main Restaurant
• Main Bar & Lounge Area
• Outdoor Terrace Canal-side

Smith’s is an ideal venue for weddings, on-location filming, major launch events, and multi-stage music and entertainment events.
The whole venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 400 standing. Its proximity to Paddington Station (50 yards from the Hammersmith & City Underground entrance) makes it quick to get to for those coming from out of town.

The service was very slow, many new and inexperienced staff. My salad was tasty. The chateaubriand was soft and had good flavour. The potatoes were not sufficiently cooked let alone crispy. It was expensive so all in all we were not very impressed.

Lovely birthday celebrations had on a Saturday afternoon. My group and I did the unlimited brunch, excellent service and food. Out main server was Dima (sp?!), but all the staff who attended our table were brilliant. I would definitely book again for any occasion and my friends and family were also impressed. The only thing I would change, is perhaps if you can create a bit of space for an after brunch / dining boogie! The DJ was playing some tunes, but there isn't any space for a bit of a dance after all that food! 😀 Thank you x

Great food & great location!Just by the canal in Paddington. We initially were interested in this restaurant due to the location and the menu sealed the deal for us! we had the Special deal beef brisket, which was a nice way to sample the nice food they do in here.. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Such a great restaurant in Central London.

We had dined at this location on our last 4th visit years ago and chose to revisit. The Fish & Chips did not disappoint! My wife enjoyed the salmon steak and that too was excellent. Great location away from all the traffic noise of the City, relaxed ambience by the canal in Paddington. A true Gem!

We went midweek and were able to book in a reservation. The ambience is the shabby chic type with beautiful decor adorning the walls.The menu had a good selection and our meals were well prepared and pleasantly displayed.My seabass was incredibly tasty and my husband burger looked really delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the textures and flavors were fantastic. The staff were on point and were friendly and attentive without being in your face when you had a mouthful of food. We had a delightful and delicious experience and will gladly return if we are in London again.

Booked in for a late lunch. The service was great, the food terrific, the prices very reasonable for London. Loved the menu with the British flair. A nice Happy Hour as well for cocktails. Definitely will return next time in Paddington place.

We had dinner here two nights in a row on our recent visit to London. We loved our first visit in June and decided to return since it's right around the street from our hotel. Everyone (including two teen boys and my wife's parents) enjoyed both meals. I tried some aubergine parmigiana which was really delicious! Everyone loves the different meat selection. My wife had fish and chips which looked tasty and she loved it. Everyone was completely satisfied on both trips and we would return!

I’d do it all over again…the food, the atmosphere, the service (Damirr our server), the STICKY PUDDING, everything! It was great and not just because we were hungry! The portions were great, pricing was more than fair. We asked for recommendations and Damir was spot on! Loved the fish and chips!! A definite must for every London traveler!
