Smith’s Bar & Grill is nestled in Paddington, London, it is the first place you see when you walk under the bypass behind Paddington Station.

Known for its high ceilings and almost full-length windows, the natural light in Smith’s is just as nourishing and wholesome as the comfortable furnishings and exquisite selection of food and drink that we serve.

The venue is split into the areas:
• Main Restaurant
• Main Bar & Lounge Area
• Outdoor Terrace Canal-side

Smith’s is an ideal venue for weddings, on-location filming, major launch events, and multi-stage music and entertainment events.
The whole venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 400 standing. Its proximity to Paddington Station (50 yards from the Hammersmith & City Underground entrance) makes it quick to get to for those coming from out of town.

Featuring Sunday roast staples such as whole roasted baby chicken marinated with fresh flavours like lemon, thyme, and garlic, or opt for the British lamb shank, matured for ten days for fuller flavour. We're also proud to offer a British beef chateaubriand option for the true Sunday Roast fanatics out there!

The food was just ok, bottled cocktails, the service was slow and the music was way too loud for a daytime brunch. Wouldn’t recommend or go back.

My seat was dirty My knife was filthy Ordered my burger medium and it came well-done Brought it to my server’s attention who said he would comp it. He brought the bill with 10% off. I questioned him who told me his manager said 10%. I said you told me comp. He returned with the bill adjusted reflecting the meal comped Really not a good experience

My husband and I visited this restaurant as it was close to our hotel during a recent trip over London. We will be back. The decor is attractive and wine selection very good. They even had a outside patio. We had the Chianti bottle. It was very good quality. The place was pretty full when we arrived at approximately 7pm on a Saturday. When we left 90 minutes later all the tables were full. We did eat the tartare, parmigiana and after we had seabass fillet and my husband had the burger, everything was high quality and tasted super fresh.

Popped in to get some cold cider and some food one evening - really enjoyed it! Food was delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone wishing to have some decent British style food. Wonderful experience in Paddington.

We walked out of our hotel in Paddington and headed down the river walk for something to eat and the aroma from their door brought us in. The restaurant feel is very modern decorated, warm colors and cosy. the wine selection is great, service was nice, we've been recommended the fish & chips which was awesome.

Coming from the US I didn't expect to be going to a British restaurant in Paddington. But on the OpernTable website it was closest to our hotel, and I was not disappointed. Very unique and interesting restaurant, fairly priced considering London prices. Both me and parents enjoyed it (so covering a fair few generations). We went on a Wednesday night and it was busy. I think booking in advance would be a good idea. But great meal, lovely staff and fair prices. If I'm ever back in London again, I'll be going.

I have been here before and had the pork ribs.Superb. This time had the lunch set menu which was the best carpaccio I have ever had and a succulent baby chicken with vegetables and for such a convenient price. Love coming here with colleagues and friends, is always a pleasure to see such a great service from all the team. the outside terrace is great for after work drinks :-)

Ok, it's been a while since a place gave me so good vibes. Date night everything was ready for this. Food mostly English but the best of London choice, excellent. Service fantastic, the atmosphere were phenomenal. The location is beautiful, in Paddington not too far from the Playground Theatre if you going to see a show after or pre dinner, such a great restaurant.

We needed to be service quickly, as we had a train to catch. Management made sure our needs were taken care of, and dinner was timely, and delicious. Five stars to all. We will definitely be back.

Of all the places we could have picked out for our sip and see, we picked this place. The ambience, the staff, the beauty of this place is everything you want and more. We went this past Thursday for happy hour, which lasts from 5-7 I believe. During happy hour, cocktails are 2-for-1, with the same cocktail. They have more cocktail options than you really know what to do with, so there's something for everyone. You can also customize one if you'd like. Beers and wines are not included in any happy hour special. This is a fantastic bar/restaurant if you are around with friends.
