Smith’s Bar & Grill is nestled in Paddington, London, it is the first place you see when you walk under the bypass behind Paddington Station.

Known for its high ceilings and almost full-length windows, the natural light in Smith’s is just as nourishing and wholesome as the comfortable furnishings and exquisite selection of food and drink that we serve.

The venue is split into the areas:
• Main Restaurant
• Main Bar & Lounge Area
• Outdoor Terrace Canal-side

Smith’s is an ideal venue for weddings, on-location filming, major launch events, and multi-stage music and entertainment events.
The whole venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 400 standing. Its proximity to Paddington Station (50 yards from the Hammersmith & City Underground entrance) makes it quick to get to for those coming from out of town.

We booked in after visiting the National History Museum, a bit footsore and hungry. We had a wonderful, enthusiastic server named Fabricio who really went the extra mile to make our experience great. He even charged our phone for us! The portions were big and very tasty, especially for the kids. We both enjoyed the Calamari and the baby chicken, very very tasty. We liked the drinks selection. Highly recommend!

This is a great little bar for a few drinks and one of the most reasonably priced in the area of Paddington Basin. It does get a tad busy in the evenings with post work drinks but that just adds to the great atmosphere. Happy hour 241 its on everyday and its a perfect location for some afterwork team building with collegues. Will defenitely return.

My husband and I ate dinner at Smith’s on our recent trip to London. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant as soon as we walked in. It was cozy and comfortable. Our waiter , Emilio, was wonderful and friendly. The food came quickly and was delicious. My husband had a burger and I had one of, if not the best beef fillet I have ever had. The meat was cooked perfectly and there was zero fat on it. The Thai Salad that I chose from the list of accompaniments was plentiful and tasty. I have eaten at others place in Paddington but this is my favorite. The prices on everything were very reasonable.

I wanted somewhere close to Padding to eat dinner before exploring the Natural history Museum and chose this restaurant on opentabla app, not knowing anything about it. The atmosphere inside is absolutely delightful. I wouldn’t call it authentic exactly, as it was a bit more aesthetically put together than any British pub. The food was amazing!!! We got chicken, fish and chips, and steak. All of us loved our dishes and we would definitely return. The service was great and our waiter kept the water and wine coming. Very glad i discovered this gem very close to Little Venice.

My Baby Chicken was phenomenal and great portion. Our waiter Duber was lovely and he’s the one that helped me decide between the fish or the Sunday roast. The prices were reasonable too, not jacked up in price like so many other places out here. Definitely one of the best sunday roast in Central London.

Thank you to the hostess today who went out of her way to get me a cab during rush hour. Your actions were very much appreciated. I was very tired after a long day touring. This place deserves an Oscar for most friendly staff ever, the food is amazing too and for sure I will be back here with friends. The burger is sublime and the location its just perfect by the canal in Paddington!

The food was just ok, bottled cocktails, the service was slow and the music was way too loud for a daytime brunch. Wouldn’t recommend or go back.

My seat was dirty My knife was filthy Ordered my burger medium and it came well-done Brought it to my server’s attention who said he would comp it. He brought the bill with 10% off. I questioned him who told me his manager said 10%. I said you told me comp. He returned with the bill adjusted reflecting the meal comped Really not a good experience
