Smith’s Bar & Grill is nestled in Paddington, London, it is the first place you see when you walk under the bypass behind Paddington Station.

Known for its high ceilings and almost full-length windows, the natural light in Smith’s is just as nourishing and wholesome as the comfortable furnishings and exquisite selection of food and drink that we serve.

The venue is split into the areas:
• Main Restaurant
• Main Bar & Lounge Area
• Outdoor Terrace Canal-side

Smith’s is an ideal venue for weddings, on-location filming, major launch events, and multi-stage music and entertainment events.
The whole venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 400 standing. Its proximity to Paddington Station (50 yards from the Hammersmith & City Underground entrance) makes it quick to get to for those coming from out of town.

We needed to be service quickly, as we had a train to catch. Management made sure our needs were taken care of, and dinner was timely, and delicious. Five stars to all. We will definitely be back.

This is quite a find in central London, Paddington area. An imaginative menu and really tasty food even including vegan options. Staff were really helpful and very engaging, especially our waiter Damir, who smiled all the way through our teasing!! The fish and chips its amazing!! Thanks for a great evening and see you next time..

Of all the places we could have picked out for our sip and see, we picked this place. The ambience, the staff, the beauty of this place is everything you want and more. We went this past Thursday for happy hour, which lasts from 5-7 I believe. During happy hour, cocktails are 2-for-1, with the same cocktail. They have more cocktail options than you really know what to do with, so there's something for everyone. You can also customize one if you'd like. Beers and wines are not included in any happy hour special. This is a fantastic bar/restaurant if you are around with friends.

Fabulous food, amazing drinks and incredible service from Duber. Lovely ambiance, beautiful decor. So glad I discovered this little gem in Paddington near Little Venice! I will definitely return on my next trip to London. The fish & chips is one of the best I ever had!!

I went to dinner here in Paddington with a friend and we had such a good time. The food was delicious! The wonderful man who served us, Emilio, made us feel very welcome and was extremely attentive to us. He made great recommendations, like the lamb chops and the seabass fillet, and was very patient with us as we were the last to leave the restaurant. The food was delicious but I have to say that Emilio was truly amazing. I highly recommend!

We made a reservation, and we're glad we did! We went there on a Monday evening, and it was a nearly full dining room. The dining room is beautifully decorated, Emilio was great, he came quickly to take our drink order and soon after our dinner order, we had the Mondays special Brisket of beef. It was delivered in perfect time, carefully prepared all at the proper temperature. Lovely dining experience in Paddington basin area, but would recommend making a reservation for most nights. The atmosphere is beautiful with a high ceiling and lots of modern decor. highly recommend!!

Well, they DO really have something here. Very nice menu, quite diverse, you can have both burgers or pasta food or fish and chips. Beautiful location just by the Paddington basin canal. Ate inside because it was a bit cool outside, but they have a very nice outside eating area. Servers were great, Alfredo knowledge about the dishes was amazing and his recommendation were great. Reasonably low priced compare to London similar establishments. This is a great find.

Really enjoyed this place and the food inn Paddington canal side. I had the fish and chips and it did not disappoint. The wait staff was great, they help one another out so you are not looking for your server and the food comes out fast and hot. We enjoyed our time here, never felt rushed while we sat and talked about our day of meetings. Worth your time to stop here.

A great restaurant in Paddington basin, all the food you taste is very good quality, with things you wouldn't normally find anywhere. Even items like fish and chips are beautifully cooked, the fish is fresh, and wonderful fries. Staff is polite and friendly, Alfredo the manager is such a great host, thank you for chatting with us and making us feel at home. Will come back with lots of friends for sure..
