Smith’s Bar & Grill is nestled in Paddington, London, it is the first place you see when you walk under the bypass behind Paddington Station.

Known for its high ceilings and almost full-length windows, the natural light in Smith’s is just as nourishing and wholesome as the comfortable furnishings and exquisite selection of food and drink that we serve.

The venue is split into the areas:
• Main Restaurant
• Main Bar & Lounge Area
• Outdoor Terrace Canal-side

Smith’s is an ideal venue for weddings, on-location filming, major launch events, and multi-stage music and entertainment events.
The whole venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 400 standing. Its proximity to Paddington Station (50 yards from the Hammersmith & City Underground entrance) makes it quick to get to for those coming from out of town.

Beautiful restaurant, Sunday roast was amazing although when it says greens, you only get one small piece of broccoli, a little disappointing. Service was ok but really do not like it when the staff tell you to leave a tip. What is the service charge for? On that alone I will not be back.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the bottomless brunch at Smiths Bar and Grill Paddington, and I must say it was an exceptional dining experience. Booked bottomless brunch for two, great service our glasses were topped up continuously throughout the 90 minutes. Food was really lovely, came quickly, they are smaller plates but as the food is bottomless it means you can try more from the menu and works really well. Our server was so lovely and gave us a couple of cocktails of our choice on the house, topped off with a great location by the canal I’d recommend Smiths Bar & Grill.

Pretty standard, loud but soulless pub/bar, offering the standard food choices burgers, fish and chips etc . An upmarket Harvester, perfectly adequate and the staff were friendly, but not a 'gastro pub' experience.

Great location. Food was good without being very good. My starter was OK as was the mains. As a bar with food it was good and a great location for post work meeting up.

I booked 2 seats to watch a Euro 24 match. I wasn't aware that the usual menu was not available for these seats, only bar snacks selection. We were told we would have to sit outside (away from the TV) if we wished to order food. Staff seemed generally overwhelmed by the combination of Euro 24 and warm weather customers. Would recommend for watching the matches, so long as you don't expect food.

Viel zu teure Preise für das was man bekommt. Service ist zwar sehr gut und zuvorkommend aber dennoch waren wir von den Speisen sehr enttäuschend. Hähnchen verbrannt, Speisen sehr klein.

It was for a special occasion and the service was terrible, half the menu wasn't available and disabled lift wasn't working. Beer was spilled on the attendees and no apology was received and nothing was done despite repeated complaints.

I went for the coffee and pastry combo in the morning with my mum. It was very good weather so was able to sit on the terrace. Usually I don’t like sitting outside because it could be loud but the restaurants location on the canal makes it very peaceful. The coffee and pastry were great and the service was quick and polite. Will come back for coffee again for sure !
