Smith’s Bar & Grill is nestled in Paddington, London, it is the first place you see when you walk under the bypass behind Paddington Station.

Known for its high ceilings and almost full-length windows, the natural light in Smith’s is just as nourishing and wholesome as the comfortable furnishings and exquisite selection of food and drink that we serve.

The venue is split into the areas:
• Main Restaurant
• Main Bar & Lounge Area
• Outdoor Terrace Canal-side

Smith’s is an ideal venue for weddings, on-location filming, major launch events, and multi-stage music and entertainment events.
The whole venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 400 standing. Its proximity to Paddington Station (50 yards from the Hammersmith & City Underground entrance) makes it quick to get to for those coming from out of town.

Great location. Food was good without being very good. My starter was OK as was the mains. As a bar with food it was good and a great location for post work meeting up.

Viel zu teure Preise für das was man bekommt. Service ist zwar sehr gut und zuvorkommend aber dennoch waren wir von den Speisen sehr enttäuschend. Hähnchen verbrannt, Speisen sehr klein.

It was for a special occasion and the service was terrible, half the menu wasn't available and disabled lift wasn't working. Beer was spilled on the attendees and no apology was received and nothing was done despite repeated complaints.

I went for the coffee and pastry combo in the morning with my mum. It was very good weather so was able to sit on the terrace. Usually I don’t like sitting outside because it could be loud but the restaurants location on the canal makes it very peaceful. The coffee and pastry were great and the service was quick and polite. Will come back for coffee again for sure !

Great location to meet up with friends for dinner or just to catch up before taking train. Food was tasty and as it was a quiet night staff didnt pressure us to leave

On arrival was met by two staff members one of which tried to pretend they couldn't find the booking and they were closed. 4pm booking. 2nd staff member explained that Smith's shares a venue with someone else and because we have a reservation we cannot be turned away "we have to seat them" then two waiters tried to rush us into ordering before we decided to visit a venue that wants customers. A terrible birthday experience and will it be returning to this chain

The food was lovely, very tasty and we did not have to wait long for it to arrive. The waiter was very attentive and gave us good suggestions. I will definitely be coming back again soon.

I love Smith's Bar and Grill. The food, especially the full English, and roasts are exquisite. The service, which was already exempl, was even better yesterday. The ambiance, the food and beverages, professionalism, care, and attentiveness of the staff makes Smith's Bar and Grill a favourite of mine and my family's. We're already planning our next visit and are looking forward to the festive menus, too!
