S'inspirant des pays européens de grandes productions maraîchères, le SIX combine les ingrédients les plus frais avec une passion pour faire ressortir les saveurs, dans une approche contemporaine de la cuisine. L'établissement offre une variété d'expériences culinaires, de la salle à manger intime, avec un décor luxueux où chaque détail romantique a été soigneusement choisi, à l'espace de repas plus détendu et informel de type brasserie. Le SIX est également le premier bar à cocktails pressés à froid de Brighton, offrant un menu varié de boissons magnifiquement conçues, ainsi qu'une sélection des meilleurs vins bio. De plus, il sert des bières exclusives brassées artisanalement, bières faites et importées à partir d'un petit village près de Gand en Belgique. Le restaurant s'engage à utiliser exclusivement des ingrédients d'origine locale, de saison et biologiques pour créer des menus équilibrés, parfaitement adaptés à la brasserie comme à la salle à manger. Tous les ingrédients sont méticuleusement choisis et fournis directement par les producteurs locaux afin d'assurer qu'ils sont le plus frais possible et de la plus haute qualité disponible.

Lovely warm welcome and helpful as I had a pram and needed a highchair. Food was delicious but possibly a little on the pricier side for its portion (especially the hash brown and hallumi). Friendly and attentive service. The only negative was that the baby changing was upstairs and there’s quite a lot of them! If alone I would be unable to leave pram unattended. There should be ground floor facilities in the disabled toilet. I asked that my grandad be shown through to use the disabled toilet as I was unable to leave my baby and I sensed the lady I asked was mildly irritated by this. I chose to ignore this as she asked our lovely waiter to assist with this.

The girl who was looking after us was brilliant, can’t remember her name but she was tall and brunette. Very helpful and very friendly. We both had a steak, one of which was slightly too rare still so a new one was cooked which was perfect. Atmosphere was great and experience was brilliant!

A little lacklustre for a quiet Tuesday, with no more than 5 tables of guests scattered around. Took around 20 minutes for drinks to arrive, a further 30 minutes for food to arrive. Food arrived at our table cold through, and part incorrect. Overwhelming taste of vinegar from the poached eggs which made the dishes inedible. Team were unenthusiastic, including the manger who although he provided apology for the food quality, didn’t seem at all concerned to follow up as to why. Zero urgency to be there for guest experience. Drinks on the house were a nice touch, although our farewell brunch for our friend moving away was marred. Left hungry and away to another venue, won’t return.

I did not enjoy my visit to six. Quite a large part of the menu wasn’t available. The smoothies and the health bowls. I bought smoothies from next door - they were really horrible. The service was really poor. We had to ask to get service. Many minutes later someone bothered with us. There were lots of staff on chatting and laughing with eachother. They weren’t busy. Some of them looked really scruffy with dirty shirts and hair. They were patronising in tone when they did eventually bother to serve us. It was my birthday and I had a really crap time! The food was good and the Maitre D was too. She was let down by her terrible team of waiting staff.

AMAZING breakfast at Six! Went there after staying over in Brighton for our anniversary. Really attentive staff - a number of whom went the extra mile to make the occasion feel special. Food was really REALLY good - great quality ingredients and cooked really well. Not the cheapest for a breakfast, but you do get what you pay for. :-)

We visited SIX for brunch as part of my sister’s Hen. The service was brilliant, venue is lovely and the food was brilliant - especially the pancakes!
