    all dishes were excellent except my main dish of whole wheat pasta with truffles and crabmeat. Crabmeat was old and smelled very fishy. If there were truffles there they were invisible. After lunch we went to the bathroom downstairs. Those marble stairs are a lawsuit waiting to happen. The lighting is really poor and hard to distinguish one step from the next. You really need to improve.

    Excellent experience, as always. We got one of the best tables in the place and loved everything. My wife was only a bit disappointed she didn't get the happy birthday song. I wrote on my reservation that this was her birthday celebration but I think they missed it. Regardless, Sistina is and always will be a jewel in the Upper East Side.

    This is our new going to place. We had been here during the pandemic a few times, sitting outside. We live 2 blocks away and we find this restaurant very convenient to go to. It’s not inexpensive. But it’s very beautiful, the food is amazing and service impeccable. We suggest sitting inside as it is a beautiful restaurant. Goran is an excellent maitre d’. Very attentive and friendly. Try it! It’s well worth it.

    The restaurant itself is beautiful. Service outstanding. The food is creative and appealing. One appy, two entrées, and 3 wines very pricey for $400.00 (with tip) at lunch.
