Paid $900 for a Valentine’s Day dinner, food was undercooked and the pasta served was reheated food that has been sitting out for an hour. Waiters were all standing around without servicing anyone, my date sat without a drink for 30 minutes before someone offered him a second drink. Service was very rushed, and they charged an additional 18% fee for using a credit card. Do not come to this restaurant

As always, it is delightful to have lunch and or dinner at Sistina. It is one of the most charming restaurants in New York City, and the food quality is absolutely the best the chef is the best in New York City in my opinion. I have never enjoyed another restaurant quite as much .

I thought it was nervy and in very poor taste for the restaurant to add a 3% surcharge for anyone paying by credit card. This is a restaurant where the average cost is $150- to $200- per person, before tips. Who carries this kind of cash with them? Makes you wonder. Please note that I think it's fine to offer a 3% discount for cash, but a 3% surcharge is very out of line.

A very special restaurant! Elegant surroundings with pretty decor, very welcoming and professional service! Dinner was delicious and presentation could not have been more beautifully done!

We had a very nice dinner at the bar. Our server/bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were impressed with his ability to remember all of the long list of specials!

Sistina provides a beautiful dining ambience in a very convenient location relative to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The service was rushed with pressure to order quickly, and courses coming from the kitchen in rapid succession. It took a very assertive demand to the waiter to slow things down. The food was really unexceptional relative to cost of the meal. Daniel pricing without the Daniel level of food.
