We love the Martha and dining at Sister’s! The food is always delicious, servers are great + personable and the restaurant has great ambience.

Making reservations was easy and now we know why. Food quality is very poor from beginning to end. The bread is tasteless. Salads - okay - probably the “funky beets” was the best item we had - but the salad should be named “arugula salad with beets - and there were few beets but tons of salad. The presentation was poor. Goat cheese good. Do not order the Chicken Marsala. The chicken was fine, but the sauce was not properly prepared and tasted like raw flour. The potatoes were not cooked and the spinach was mostly stems with no flavor. Sadly, we stopped at that - had breakfast the following morning - and eggs were okay - but they kept running out of regular coffee and service was sluggish.

We are locals and celebrated New Year’s Eve with friends from out of town! All four entrees were beautifully planted and delicious. The wine list was good too. Sisters was a five star experience!

There’s a great bar with interesting seasonal drinks. We had breakfast, dinner, and one evening just a baked Brie appetizer with drinks. Everything was delicious.

Our server was fantastic. We set at the bar and had the bartender serve us. The fish and chips was not my favorite. The fish was a little thick so felt a little mushy in the middle. The batter was fantastic. The crème brûlée was wonderful!

Great place to eat for a special occasion. The fish and chips are great, and so was the prime rib. Good food, beautiful ambiance, and great service.

This place is filled with history! The staff was welcoming and the food was great. Great coffee too.

They told us they couldn’t seat us, so I went online and made a reservation. They immediately sat me after I told them I just made a reservation. Then they proceeded to serve my mother a Caesar salad with sliced grilled chicken. The chicken was not fully cooked even though they cut it open and should have seen it. I wonder what else they used that knife and cutting board for after cutting undercooked chicken on it. They kindly got a new meal out for us. The wait staff was so nice.

My experience dining at Sisters at Martha was good overall. The ambience created a nice start to an evening that concluded at the Barter Theatre across the street. While the food was good and the service not bad, I'm not sure I'd categorize it as "fine dining." It was pretty much on par with a lot of other restaurants in the area, only slightly more expensive (overpriced in my opinion). While I don't know that I'll return, I do believe its worth the visit of you've never been and are looking for a nice evening while in Abingdon.

We waited almost an hour between the time our salad was served and our entree arrived. Several tables around us were seated and finished their meals while we were waiting. We asked the waitress and were told they were waiting for the French fries to cook.
