    In all fairness, I went on a Friday buffet only menu! Hopefully off the menu is better. The buffet what some good and some not so good items/aspects! Good were the chicken,vegetables and fish. Bad was salad bar,antipasto bar,cheese bar and dessert bar all crammed into one small space , not very appetizing and the waiting , congestion and confusion added to the unorganized mess! Cheeses marginal, no fruit, no crackers, no bread. Hot foods swimming in sauce, or mostly fried. We will NEVER eat there again, especially before a concert….we will eat at one of the many wonderful neighboring restaurants then drive over! Very disappointing!

    We really enjoy Shor when we stay at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. We love coming her for dinner and for their buffet breakfast. It’s nice to be able to sit outside with your pet and the service is always impeccable.

    We really liked our dinner at Shor. The food was exceptional, the service couldn’t have been better, and since we were staying at the Hyatt, convenient. They have a nice outdoor patio. Our waitress was very friendly and made us a feel right at home. Highly recommended

    Great food and great service. Sat outside overlooking front entrance and valet. Quieted down as night came. A lot of noisy, undisciplined children. Too bad actually…

    I attended a concert last year and had a reservation at SHOR where we were able to select from the menu. This year, not knowing the change, I made a reservation only to find out it was now a buffet. I should've asked for the price, and in hindsight, I should've just utilized the bar. The food was not as good as it was from the menu selection. The Seabass I chose at the buffet was dry, the grilled vegetables had no flavor. My husband said the brisket was not flavorful. We were truly disappointed and wish we wouldn't have been notified the change on concert nights. I was wondering why the restaurant was not as crowded as it was last year...that should've been my clue! I attend the Subaru Summer Series every year and I will not eat at SHOR again on a concert night. We'll eat before we arrive or order from the bar.

    It was buffet style because of the event ..was not expecting that …however the food was good and the selection I was pleased ..overall good experience

    Don’t waste your money unless you’re ok with spending $90 for food you would see at a church potluck. This was the absolute worst buffet I’ve ever been to. The food was horrible and the service was poor. Never again will I go there.
