My first experience dinning at Shinto Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Lounge in Naperville was very nice. There were 3 of us for lunch to celebrate our friends Birthday. The meal was amazing, and the atmosphere was on point. The chef was very talented, he made the meal very exciting experience. The birthday was acknowledged with a free desert that we all shared.

Food was great as always. The short of the 2 lady’s up front was upset that she had to do her job. I walked up to let her know my full party of 8 was there, she rolled her eyes, had an upset look on her face. She rudely said ok. I seen her walking people to their tables. Every time I seen her she was not smiling or talking. I get it people have bad days but she was not happy to be there.

Wonderful staff and service. The wait staff is friendly, accommodating, and attentive. The chefs are excellent and interact with the table. Highly recommend the experience.

Fantastic server (Juan) and our chef was so outgoing and funny, it made my sons birthday very special. The food is always so good and the value is incredible. Hostess and Bar staff were also very outgoing and pleasant. This is why we return over and over and over. Thank you.

I love the soup and salad with the ginger dressing! I didn’t like the taste of the egg sauce or how they cooked it(almost burned). I didnt like that they don’t filet their shrimp. I mainly go to the Hibachi for the egg sauce! And theirs doesn’t hold a candle to Ron of Japan. The food tasted good….but without the egg sauce being yummy and smothered on it….i wouldn’t get it again. Once again - I go for the egg sauce and theirs is just mediocre at best. PLUS they charge 3.00 for it and at Ron of Japan you can have as much as you want no charge.

We had an incredible party for my 10 year old! Service was amazing (and patient with 11 girls). They absolutely loved the hibachi experience, and food, which was a first for most of them. A HUGE thanks to Branden, who assisted me at every turn with questions. He was so kind and helpful. A+ experience the entire way!

Honestly it’s our favorite hibachi ever. Food is always so good. Reggie our serve was awesome. Chef is great. We always come home with leftovers for the next day. We always love our hibachi experience here. The sushi is good too!
