Food was amazing!! I ordered the truffle fries ( must try), oysters and black pepper fish dish. They were cooked perfectly and super delicious. In addition, the staff including kitchen were incredibly professional, knowledgeable and kind. Glad I sat at the chefs table :).

For as much as this meal cost, I expected much better. I ordered hush puppies and surf & turf (NYstrip and scallops). The hush puppies were incredibly dry and had a weird burnt after taste. I didn’t understand why a simple comfort food eaten with seafood was reimagined with complex toppings that didn’t really add anything to the dish. Good hush puppies stand on their own. This was just weird. The steak was cooked to the right temp and had flavor, albeit overly covered in something that I presume was a twist on chimichurri sauce. The sauce wasn’t bad, just perhaps too much - drowning the steak AND the bone placed on the plate. The bone had no marrow in it, so I don’t know what purpose it served other than as additional surface area for the sauce. The scallops were slightly undercooked, but had good flavor on the portion that wasn’t in the path of the sauce. The sauce that runneth over overpowered the rest of the scallops. The service was good and I liked the atmosphere, but not enough to return for a mediocre meal. I suppose that is what I get for giving a hotel restaurant a shot.

It has been a while that I can say that I had enjoyed the food and that was it. Champagne perfectly chilled, appetizers timely served, dinner plate amazing and dessert- oh gosh, we just swallowed it in 1 minute. Flannel cake was out this world. Highly recommended.

We were late to our reservation because the comedy show across the street went longer than expected. We arrived and apologized, the hostess said she was about no show us, which was fair. The other hostess, who was looking down on us with her glasses at the end of her nose said it would be about 15 mins so the servers and kitchen wouldn’t be hit all at once. That sounded reasonable to me. Then we sat down and the server came over and we didn’t want any alcohol so he offered lemonade. It was super tart. Then we told him we wanted something to share as we weren’t too hu get and you could see the disappointment in his face. He got us our lemonades and then proceeded to deal with the 9 person and 4 person tables who were ordering alcohol and full meals. We ordered 3 appetizers: miso Caesar (they should have called it a green salad because there was nothing Caesar about it), focaccia with sun dried tomato oil (bread was burnt and it tasted like highly acidic tomatoes) and the hamachi. That was really good. The hostess dropped off the hamachi and the salad. But the bread was no where to be seen. We’re half way through the appies when the bread showed up cold. Our server hadn’t even checked in. It was obvious he didn’t think he’d get a big tip from us so he ignored us. Very poor experience since the last time we were there, granted that was a few years ago. I don’t think we’d go back.

First time coming here and it was for brunch. The host was fantastic (didn’t catch her name) but apparently it was her first time doing brunch as well, since she usually does dinner. Super welcoming and answered any question I had, really made me feel welcomed. Watching the kitchen staff work was fantastic too. Enjoyed the food as well!

Traveling from Los Angeles and second time eating here within a year. Food was excellent the first time, but most of our dishes were lukewarm. We also noticed the meager wine pour (our server assured us it was a "standard" pour, but it seemed light). Manager was super accommodating and comped our (not inexpensive) dinner; what an amazing gesture. So, thought we would try it again. Food was not as good the second time and was served lukewarm, AGAIN. Also, once again, my wife observed that the wine pour was small (smaller then we have seen at any restaurant, and we dine out a LOT). At these prices our food should be hot and we should get a decent wine pour. I was tempted to tell the host (a different one this time) about our experience, but decided against it. I was not in the mood to complain, especially after complaining the first time and seeing no improvement the second time Overall, it is a decent restaurant with an interesting menu but we will not rush back.

I would like to tell you that the food was delicious, but we never got to eat. We sat down at 7:00 and had not been served our meals by 8:40 when we decided to pay for our drinks and leave, The waitress was apologetic, professional, and attentive and checked with the kitchen over and over again. The manager offered complimentary bread at about 8:20.We were very patient and polite. When we finally decided to leave, the manager slapped the bill rudely on the table. Her lack of calm professionalism is what we most dislike. The restaurant was overwhelmed. I get that; it happens to the best of restaurants. What distinguishes a great restaurant is when this is handled with grace.
