Located in NYC's premiere “suburban” oasis, we bring energy to the ground floor of The Art House New York Hotel. We are a friendly destination for families, professionals and visitors. Vibrant frescos grace the walls while the pizza oven takes center stage. Our dining room offers expansive vies of the busy streets, while our patio seating puts guests right in the middle of the action. We offer delicious Italian cuisine, featuring fresh pastas, pizzas, seafood and meats.

UPDATED COVID-19 POLICY:In adherence to the NYC mandate, all eligible guests 12 years and older must be vaccinated against Covid-19 to enter our restaurant. You will need to provide proof of at least one dose of the Covid-19 vaccination to enter & dine indoors. The following are acceptable proof of vaccination with a matching valid ID: NYS Excelsior Pass, State or Country issued digital pass or Vaccination Card. We arrived 1 hour early for our 6:15PM reservation. The Hostess graciously accepted our arrival and seated us without discussion. This professionalism was much appreciated. Service was above average. Will return with friends.

Restaurant was very busy so service was not good. I don’t know if this level of service is normal or if it was because they were busy. food was good for the price. Ambience was lovely.

I guess our server wasn’t having his best day. Probably because it was totally empty on a Thursday night. We didn’t get the best treatment in our party of 6

We were a little bit disappointed by our appetizers - calamari - as it was a bit chewy. However our main courses were superb - salmon and bass. We shared the profiteroles for dessert and they were fine. Our waiter was great. He was quick and professional.

I’ve been coming to Serafina for years, this time was the absolute worst. The service was extremely terrible. I was rushed through my meal, the waiter was hovering over me, I couldn’t even really enjoy my date or my experience, I had the waiter basically rushing me to leave. When I was handed the check I did not even get the chance to get my card out of my wallet before someone walked up to me with a card reader in hand for me to pay, I was in the middle of a conversation, winding down from dinner and I have someone hovering over me to pay which is very distasteful. My food was also COLD and EXTREMELY OILY. When observing the restaurant we noticed this was not done to anyone else in the establishment. This experience has most definitely tainted my image of Serafina and I am very disappointed.

Sarabeth's is a very nice place to meet up with friends or family for a delicious brunch, as I did recently. The omletes are very good as are the baked goods. My friend had eggs Benedict which she enjoyed. I feel it is not as noisy as some restaurants, so it is good for conversation.

I didn’t feel like we were especially appreciated. Service was a bit slow and our server seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Won’t come back. No salad available as a side for less than $25.
