    During our last dining experience here in June 2024, we were very disappointed since unfortunately we had a food preparation problem. I called the next day to discuss it with the manager, she apologized and asked us to please dine with them again, since the problem would be addressed. We did give them another try last night, and we are glad we did!! Our appetizers, entrees, beverages were all delicious, creatively prepared with great presentation and professionally served. A terrific restaurant learns and improves from mistakes, and we appreciate their professionalism and find them to continue being innovative and special.

    My husband had osso buca and thought it was the best he’s ever had, even in Italy. My beet salad was nice. Portion size was large so we shared. The tira misu was not quite right. The online menu listed snapper, with lots of rave reviews. The waiter told us they didn’t have it , didn’t know about it. My only complaint - the bill came with tipping options starting at 20% going up. I dislike being told what to tip, too aggressive.

    Serafina is a quaint place on the middle river in Fort Lauderdale. The ambience is festive and romantic. The Italian food is delicious and the service is excellent. If you can Uber to it it may be easier since parking is tight. There is Valet parking available.

    Came for Christmas Eve Dinner. Feast of the 7 fishes. We started with a bottle of Chianti Classico. We both had octopus carpaccio. So tender & delicious. For the mains, we had snapper with, clams, mussels & shrimp with squid ink pasta. Totally blew our minds!!! A perfect way to start the holiday!!! Joe, our server was quick & very personable. We were too full for dessert but enjoyed a double expresso. We haven’t been here for a long time. Atmosphere, sitting outside on the water was delightful. A truly, wonderful experience tonight. We will be back soon for sure!
