Just exceptional. Will return when we pass through town again. Elote fritters were delicious, ancho filet was outstanding, cauliflower was crispy and flavorful. Kudos to the dining and kitchen staff!

Food is amazing as always! Really can’t go wrong with any selections made to be shareable amongst friends. Chef does special tweaks to his fusion recipes that makes familiar dishes stand out! The plating, the tastes - all exceptional!!! Fully support the ranking of #1 restaurant in Kanab! We go back time and time again as repeat customers every chance we get!

Sego is… amazingly, stunningly, good, and, in any large city would be priced triple what they charge for food and service of this caliber. We've been trying to decide what we liked best, and it's hard to pick one thing. Their Pork Belly and Watermelon salad is a wonder, the flavors compliment each other extremely well, they don't collide but leave room for the flavors of the other ingredients to step in resulting in a little tasting voyage. The Asparagus had us picking small pieces and trying to figure out what every bit was. The Grilled Caesar salad was my favorite though. It's a slightly deconstructed caesar consisting of two halves of a romaine head, quickly grilled, with a delicious dressing and an egg that we at first thought was a deep fried mozzarella ball, but (I'm guessing the technique here) turned out to be a perfectly soft-boiled egg rolled in a nice crust and quickly fried. It was surprising, and provided the missing ingredient for the dressing and I would have filled my pockets with them to take home. The service was perfect, attentive but never intrusive, and able to answer all our many questions about the food and ingredients. The staff was passing our compliments and questions to the chef who soon came out to talk, leading to a fun and heartfelt talk. If you're in Kanab go there. If you're not in Kanab then drive there and then go to Sego. It's worth it.

Fantastic food and service with a lot of interesting variety. Sharable portions made it easy to try a variety of dishes and flavors.

Another5 star dinner at Sego. The drinks were sooo good. Be sure to try the prickly pear margaritas- the BEST I’ve ever had! The “ toasts” are also very good. Our favorite is the artichoke and mushroom. We had to have the scallops again and they didn’t disappoint! The popcorn purée makes the recipe. Finally we tried the watermelon and pork belly salad. It was very creative and flavors worked well together. Kabob is very lucky to have a first class restaurant like Sego in the community.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had!! The swordfish was flaky! The watermelon and pork belly was fabulous! Great server—derrek!! Love it all!!

First, the food was excellent. However, our server was very slow and not friendly at all. Maybe he was having a bad night? We made reservations and when asked if we were celebrating anything I specifically indicated it was our anniversary. The host said "oh happy anniversary" but after that the server (or anyone else) never even acknowledged it so why ask? I asked the server if he had any menu suggestions for a first timer, and he said "I'll come back when you're actually ready to order." Also, we were seated between two large, rowdy groups that were obviously together and kept shouting over our table (for our anniversary dinner!). Also, we were charged for an iced tea refill. $8 for iced tea? It was just one more unpleasant surprise on top of our other frustrations. Overall, we were so disappointed, but the food was amazing or else I would have only given 2 stars. We ordered 4 different items and all were just delicious, fresh and perfectly prepared. However, when we were finished, they were sweeping under our table and couldn't wait to rush us out even though other guests were still there. We live locally so perhaps we will try again sometime if I can convince my husband, who was very unhappy by the time we left.

This is the best restaurant in northern Arizona and southern Utah. We frequently drive 150 miles (round trip) to partake of Sego’s unique dining. There are nightly specials and Avocado Toast is always the first time we order. You will not be disappointed in their unique main dishes, appetizers, and desserts.
