Poor service, not just our table but others close by had issues. My wife was pregnant and I had to get up from the table 3 tables to ask for bread and there were at best 4-5 other tables seated Tuna tartar was lackluster at best. Salmon was cooked well but was a poor cut (resembled a chicken filet vs a nice piece of salmon). Patio was nice but definitely better options. 410 Bank st is my favorite restaurant in Cape May.

Innovative dishes, but on Saturday night loud lounge singer with very acoustically live space making dinner conversation difficult. Service was problematic – entire table cleared before main course, we had to chase after our own replacement silverware, despite asking for more.

Nice open dining space. Good service and selection of cocktails/ wines and food. Our favorites…octopus, short rib, flat iron steak and lamb.

We have had mostly excellent food at Sea Salt, over the several years we have been coming. We usually sit outside, so it may have been our mistake to sit inside last night. Very warm and stuffy, unclear why front windows not open. Service person sweet but slow— not our experience in past. Fried calamari very tasty and light, Parmesan fries always amazing, tuna tartare and oysters fantastic quality. Barramundi uninteresting, gazpacho good but with cream which normally gazpacho does not have. Overall okay last night

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years and this was the first time I have been quite unimpressed . The hostess refused to sit my sister and myself at a table by the window instead insisted she had to sit us a smaller table for 2 because of all the reservations. We did sit down and shortly afterwards she sat 2 people by the window. The food was not as good as in recent years and the server never asked how we wanted the salmon cooked. I cancelled my other reservation. I won’t be back.

Our reservation was for Father’s Day brunch. The brunch menu is limited to begin with and they had run out of our daughter’s first 2 menu choices. The food they did serve was acceptable but nothing special. Not a good value either, for example a non-alcoholic virgin Bloody Mary was $22.00!

Service was a little slow, but I think they were understaffed. The food was absolutely delicious worth the wait a few times now and it’s always really good. Definitely will go back.
