                        Really lovely food in a nice dining hall. Was especially nice to receive a small dessert for my birthday.

                        There seem to be a lot of staff doing nothing . We had to ask 3 times for some water ! A little chaotic and needs better management. The young lad who served us seemed to be the only person doing anything. Food was ok . Service charge is apparently not discretionary either we were told it had to be paid ! Sorry can’t recommend until you sort out the service staff.

                        I did my research to find a nice restaurant for lunch close to the Royal Albert Hall. Location was good and when we walked in I appreciated the style and decor, but there was no atmosphere, the waiters looked bored with no enthusiasm to welcome or take your order and the food was so bland. My chicken was served with six tiny squares of rosemary potatoes (a sprig of rosemary being a reminder, as the potatoes had no flavour of rosemary) and the rest of the plate was filled with rocket which added the most flavour to the plate! So disappointing as it was a special day out. Won’t return and can’t recommend.

                        Waiting staff were very friendly and attentive without being in your face. Wine @ £34 a bottle reasonably priced for london. Food was good but the chips seemed dry and overcooked. Overall good value for the set menu. Portion sizes were good. We would visit again.

                        We really enjoyed our meal but there is room for improvement with service. Firstly we booked for the set menu but had to ask for it as we were given the main menu. The waiter's removed plates from individuals before we were all finished. On asking for the bill, it was brought to us and he had the card machine with him and stood there waiting for us to pay before we had even looked at the bill. Also they add 12.5% service charge which I can understand with large tables but with a table of 2 or 4 is should be upto the customer to determine how much they want to tip. We did pay the full 12.5%. We would go back and recommend.
