It was our first time at Scaramouche. The decor and ambiance are warm and calming. Servers were extremely pleasant and helpful with the menu and the wine list. We enjoyed cocktails and wine with dinner. The food was fine, not exceptional. The cream of mushroom soup was delicious, but tepid. It's as if they took a dollop of soup out of a refrigerated container and microwaved it. The edges of the bowl were hot but the soup in the bowl was not. I mentioned it to the server and he said he'd tell the kitchen. The server disappeared for a long time, so we ate it anyway. The shocker at the end of the evening was the price of the soup: $18 per bowl (it was not listed on the menu). My scallops were perfectly cooked but too salty. My friend's duck was superb. My partner's chicken was fine. Our desserts: blueberries, hazelnut bomb and coconut cream pie were tasty and fresh. $504 with tax and tip was a bit much for the mediocre quality of the food. I've had better meals at Sassafraz and Auberge du Pommier for much less. We will not be returning.

Foods Taste is a bit off and more salty. It was unusual taste like mushroom was a bit salty, scallops with coriander was off , duck was too much chewy, steak was not the same.

We recently dined at Scaramouche, and it was a fantastic experience, as always! The food was absolutely excellent, with each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable—attentive yet unobtrusive, making our meal feel special without being overwhelming. The ambiance is consistently inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for a delightful evening. Whether it’s my first visit or my tenth, Scaramouche never disappoints! Highly recommend!

We celebrated a double birthday last night and had an outstanding dinner (the Salmon Special was supernal and cooked perfectly.) Ryan took extra special care of us - he's simply got to be one of the best pro servers in the City. Can't wait to return...

The food and the ambiance were exceptional. The peppercorn fettuccine is to die for! My only recommendation is they should offer bread while you wait for your food. For the price you are paying I think that is something you would expect at a fine dining restaurant

Always amazing experience! Food is delicious and service is amazing. Our waiter was very good and attentive but it was a little difficult to understand him. We had to ask several times to repeat the specials that he was naming. Overall, we are always be back. Thank you.

Harry and Lewis Cole provided outstanding service. So did our waiter but sadly I have forgotten his name. But it was well above what is usual in high end Toronto restaurants. Truly first class!
