Sapore Italiano is a relaxed Italian eatery known for its tasty bread and hearty cuisine. The restaurant serves everything, from pizzas and salads, to veal scaloppine Marsala and tiger prawns with a basil and white wine sauce. Try Sapore Italiano's homemade meat lasagna or signature insalata Sapore with greens, chicken breast, raisins and sliced apples in a balsamic vinaigrette for lunch. Sapore Italiano's dinner menu includes irresistible antipasti like carpaccio Veneto with raw beef, shaved Parmesan, arugula, Dijon mustard, olive oil and lemon. The restaurant's rigatoni with ground sausage and vegetarian pizza are both standout dishes. A large wine list includes a nice variety of Italian and Californian wines. Amazing service and food. Short ribs could be their signature dinner. It was the special of the day. If they have it get it. Probably the best short ribs I’ve had in a long while. I substituted polenta for angel hair pasta. The staff were super chill and the bartender has some cool dance moves. Lol!!

They took my reservation and when I arrived there was a line of people who had reservations They just take all bookings and then make people wait in cramped area awkwardly Bad experience

The food was amazing. The Gorgonzola Gnocchi was outstanding. My son had a pizza and the crust was perfectly baked and the Crème Brûlée was delicious. I had the cannoli that came with 4 small pieces and they were delicious as well. Our server Ally, was knowledgeable, attentive and was almost invisible but not. I recommend this restaurant.

Draft beer was unavailable. The only bottle beer was Peroni. Bread was good. Mista salad was uninspiring. Carbona was very good. Pesto Tortelini was bland.

Dishes were bland and not much flavor at all. Sauces didn’t have any depth. Chicken Marsala didn’t even have a sear or seasoning on chicken breast.

I really want to like this place. It seems like a great neighborhood restaurant, and I have given this place so many chances. One time my silverware was dirty, and another time my dish was cold. The food is just ok. I keep thinking it is what I’m ordering, as I have friends that love this place.

We loved the place. It was homey and comfortable, excellent family style resetting. Food was great, especially the lasagna bolognese. Loved it. Will definitely go back for more.
