We went in for a quick pasta before watching a show. The food was freshly made with top quality ingredients and tasted wonderful. I had the gnocchi and my husband had the carbonara. Both were fabulous and the Sauvignon, which was fresh, citrus and very easy, went perfectly with it. The service was excellent and i look forward to returning soon for the full Salvi experience.

The food was fantastic with a great choice of dishes. I particularly enjoyed the octopus pasta dish for my main & my husband said it was one of the best ravioli dishes he had ever had. The starters were beautiful too & the tiramisu was outstanding. Great service, very relaxed - we also bought a few treats to take home from the deli upstairs.

There was a bit of miscommunication when I got there as I was told the restaurant is closing despite the confirmation that my table is booked. Someone asked the kitchen if it’s ok for us to go in and was glad to be informed that we can. The waiter was fantastic- knowledgeable and attentive. The food was also tasty. All in all, I left the restaurant feeling satisfied.

If you’re a diner that prefers quantity over quality then this is the place for you. Starters were big enough for 2-3 people, but very bland and lacking taste. We both had pasta, unfortunately the meals looked better than they tasted. Service however was very good, it was our first visit, and it will be our last.

Our first visit since the refurbishment, you’ve done a great job with that. Service spot on, food excellent served in a great atmosphere. Nothing we could fault! We will be back as soon as we can, thanks for making it a great evening!

Staff were not very attentive. Food was disappointing - heavy and overly cheesy. Disappointing as food at their restaurants previously has been very good and was a good example of Italian food.

Have been before to Salvis and really enjoyed the food. The last 2 visits have been disappointing.. Small portions.. Not fresh pasta and expensive limited menu which is a shame.

We were looking forward to the meal at Salvi’s, however whilst the food was good there were a few disappointing other factors. When ordering drinks in arrival, both our first choices were unavailable, nothing too outrageous, Salvi’s own brand lager and Magners!? On ordering the meal my wife then ordered arruncini only to be told they didn’t have any. The mains arrived literally 5 minutes after ordering, nobody checked on us through the meal or asked if we required more drinks, even though both glasses were empty. After we had order dessert, table water was brought and poured….. The bill came, gratuity added, whilst the food we did order was very good everything else left a lot to desired. I’d like to go back as I can imagine with good service you’d have a great meal, but I doubt I’ll risk it.
