Ouvert en 1967, l'établissement à la gestion familiale Saloon propose une immersion dans le passé de la ville de Philadelphie. La décoration à base de boiseries en chêne foncé, de laiton et d'antiquités contribue à créer une atmosphère chaleureuse conviviale et décontractée. Le deux salles à manger comportent des bars vintage où vous pourrez déguster des plats savoureux à prix modéré. L'établissement sert une cuisine italienne avec des spécialités de fruits de mer, notamment du poulpe grillé et de la sole. Les steaks et les côtelettes de veau proposés sont devenus légendaires. Vous pourrez accompagner les steaks d'une assiette de piments grillés. Tous les desserts et les glaces italiennes sont quotidiennement préparés sur place.                                                                                                     Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. Very much reflects South Philly’s storied past without being stuck in it. Fancy enough for special celebrations but comfortable enough for a family dinner. And on top of all this, there is free parking! Shout out to Nick and Greg!

                                                                                                    Overall loved the venue, fantastic service, but only a little above average food for a very above average price. Great home made pastas and even better service. Didn’t really think the servers, all female that I could see, should be required to wear tight black extremely short dresses. Was recommended this place by an acquaintance who said the steaks were amazing. I ordered the strip medium and it came out well done. They remade quickly, too quickly. Seemed like all the steaks were par cooked then quickly brought up to a temperature to serve. A little tough to boot and not what I expected for a “prime” steak. The pesto was really good and so was the wet salad with burrata. Ambience was great. Really cool older building with lots of dark wood paneling and local artwork. Hoping they were just having an off night and will give them another shot to find out.

                                                                                                    Lovely restaurant, beautiful ambience & atmosphere. The food was amazing and freshly made. The host was slightly rude but our server made up for his lack of hospitality. Not great for large parties but good for a couples date.

                                                                                                    Fantastic Dinner for a group of 7 people. Service was unbelievable. Food was delicious, served beautifully and quickly. Drinks were on point, and everyone enjoyed their time there. Only complaint was this was a birthday dinner for my two kids and a little piece of dessert would have been nice for the amount of money we spent. It was noted in the reservation. But would never deter me from celebrating a special occasion there again .

                                                                                                    Fantastic food. Great ambiance. The whole experience was top-notch. Can't wait to go back and try all the dishes. The bolognese was especially delicious.
