Ignored throughout the dinner ever. Party of six. Guess she didn’t care as there is an automatic 20 percent gratuity. And the hostess who sat us made me take my wife’s $100 bottle with special ultraviolet treated water she can only drink. So she went without water the entire overly lengthy ordeal.

We were welcomed as we entered and shown to our table. Alexa, our server met us promptly and took out drinks order. The Calamari appetizer was so tender and sweet and the sauces are savory and a great complement. My husband commented that he liked that the tomato dipping sauce was warm. Our main was the Halibut special. Pan fried Halibut with crabmeat and a white wine sauce, fried green tomato and couscous. Perfection! Golden, moist fish beautifully presented with a slightly spicy couscous and a slice of fried tomato. Our dessert was the Berry shortcake. Homemade ice cream, butter cake, crème anglaise, a mixture of blueberries, strawberries and blackberries with homemade whipped cream on the side Yummy. A wonderful experience overall , great food and service just can't be beat.

When eating out at an upscale restaurant I rarely order a chicken dish. But last night at Sacred Pepper, I had the Chicken Burrata Entrée (oak-grilled, tomato, basil, capers, white wine butter sauce, vegetable medley) and it was delicious, savory and full of flavors. Will definitely order this again! The awesome wine, Crab & Corn Chowder, and the Sacred Heart Salad were perfect starters that led to another fantastic dinner here at Sacred Pepper. And “Many Thanks” to my server “Adam” for being so kind, polite, attentive, patient, and for always taking good care of me.

Our request to be seated away from the music level was granted, and I appreciated that. Our server was very cordial and efficient. The food as always was excellent.

We had a lovely dinner and excellent service. It gets very busy on a Friday and can be a bit loud with a DJ performing. It didn’t affect our experience negatively but some might not care for that atmosphere.

Always try to have dinner here when we come to Moffitt Cancer Center. The food is delicious and service is very attentive without being intrusive. Thanks Jen for excellent service.
