So you ask why Wanda Byob?

Wanda Pollyana Boos/Lipot was my Mother and my inspiration to become a Chef. Wanda was an amazing cook who actually had some serious training in her country of Trinidad and Tobago. In fact, one of my most prized mementos is my mother's... her cooking manual from Naparima Girls High School in Trinidad.

What started as my mother's inspiration many years ago has turned into a career that I love and am very proud of. So here I am, my mother's son, who has spent 38 years in the kitchen, perfecting my craft. I now want to share what I've learned with all of you in a place I can call my own.

With the help of my wonderfully supportive wife, Gilda and my wonderful family behind me, I look forward to what's to come.

We are proud to announce that since our opening at the end of August 2008 , Boulevard Five72 has gained a reputation as one of the finest restaurants and caterers in our area. The Star Ledger named us runner up for the "Best New Restaurant in New Jersey for 2008" and the New Jersey Monthly just listed us as one of the top 22 Restaurants that you must try! Lastly, we received a review of 3 and 1/2 stars from the Star Ledger in October of 2008.
