Worth trying once if you’re curious, but this to me is one of those places you don’t need to visit twice. The good: - We arrived early and they gave us a table right away, though there were plenty of empty tables at the time anyway. - The staff was really nice and you could tell they worked hard. - Restaurant is clean and has a pleasant ambience, but nothing spectacular. - Food came out relatively quickly (except dessert). The bad (and oh so bad) - Ordered a 40 oz Tomahawk steak that was brought to the table without being sliced. I was asked if it should be cut in half (party of two). When I mentioned that we’re used to having it sliced - a standard for any serious steakhouse - it was roughly cut at the table and served as two giant piles of meat to us. - The steak itself had parts that were ok on salt and parts that were too salty, which tells me they need to be more uniform with the seasoning. Also, some of the fat had not rendered down enough so a few bits were chewy. - The roasted brussel sprouts had some sprouts that were charred and delicious and some sprouts that were undercooked and tough. Again, a consistency issue. - The lobster mac and cheese was a mac and cheese with lobster pieces placed on top. It did not feel like one cohesive dish. it should be mixed and baked together. - My gift card didn’t work, which I can understand. However, when the manager Michael was explaining the issue and told me to call the issuer of the gift card, he mentioned his last name. When I asked confirmation on how to spell it (i was taking notes to resolve the issue later) he said “I don’t know why that would matter.” Michael Morrell really needs some customer service training. If you’re looking for a great steakhouse for a special occasion then my advice is to look elsewhere. If you’re a steakhouse enthusiast like I am and you’re just curious to try it, then visit it by all means, but don’t expect to be wowed in any way, except perhaps i’m how disappointed you will be.

Great evening out! Our server, Mike, was efficient and attentive - also super-friendly! The restaurant was busy, but the whole service team was on top of it. Steaks were prepared as requested and very tasty. appetizers, sides and desserts also yummy.

BEGINNING FROM THE FRONT DEST FOR CHECK IN, AMAZING STAFF. VERY POLITE, WARM, ENERGETIC, AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING. THE WAIT IN BETWEEN COCKATILS AND FOOD WAS ON POINT. MORE BREAD NEEDED TO BE SERVED IN BASKET. WAITOR AND WAITRESSES AND BUSSBOYS AND GIRLS WERE ALL VERY POLITE.

I have visited Ruth Chris several times and highly disappointed with my visit yesterday. I was asked if it was happy birthday and normally they decorate the table or at least acknowledge it. The service was slow. I was told the server accidentally put that we wanted drinks during dinner. It took awhile for everything.

Unfortunately this time around, our experience wasn’t what we expected it to be. We did the tastemaker event, in which we’ve done a couple prior at the same location. My spouse and I were very disappointed. It took an hour for the first appetizer to come out and it was a paired dish as we were greeted with the first cocktail. We were unable to pair it together as the Rep made it very clear only one drink per course…. Funny thing is, we watched multiple people get a second round. The food quality was not worth the price. A $300 dinner for two people.. don’t get me wrong you get a couple of dishes and cocktails, but quality of food definitely wasn’t worth the cost. The staff hosting the event were exceptional and accommodating if necessary. Bartender did an awesome job with the cocktails. Unfortunately poor overall experience… love the place but very disappointed this time around.
