ruth’s Chris never disappoints. We just love eating in the bar especially at the little counter at the bar that works so well for Eileen‘s power wheelchair. We always feel like it’s coming home as everyone’s always tremendously nice to us. Brian Marc and Hana always take great care of us and it’s always a pleasure seeing our friend Jim runs the show at this tremendous restaurant. Just a reminder they have the bar menu, which is the best value in the Fox Valley Sunday through Friday night from 4 to 6. Where else can you get a steak sandwich of Ruth’s Chris quality and order the best fries for $17. Thanks again guys.

It is always a wonderful experience when I dine here, whether by myself, with family or friends. This evening I came to celebrate my friend’s birthday for dinner and again they didn’t disappoint….. from the kind gesture of wishing her happy birthday as we came in, with the adorable birthday card on the table upon our arrival, birthday confetti and finally ending the night beautifully with a complementary dessert for her. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and perfect. The steak was cooked perfectly to a medium temperature, the Seabass was melt in your mouth delicious and the steak salad and lobster bisque were top-notch. Thank you again for always going the extra mile for your loyal customers .

We sat outside and the service was not great. We barely saw our server. No one ever came to refill our water. Two of the four steaks were not cooked to the requested temperature. One was slightly over cooked and one was undercooked. The last problem was the cheesecake desserts came with moldy raspberries. The manager did apologize and offered fresh raspberries or another dessert but at that point we were not interested. Overall very disappointing for a $400 dinner!

We had a wonderful time - the service was amazing - my steak was a little underdone but it was so so delish! They brought me extra potatoes and wow - those were the best potatoes!!!!

Our server was rude and very inattentive, we had to keep telling other waiters to go get her. Our steaks were all mixed up and given to other people in our party. The manager tried to make it right but I don’t think we will be going back. Perry’s Steak house is by far better

We recently attended the Casamigos Tastemaker Dinner, one of Ruth Chris's special dinner events. The event was an interesting dining experience; you're having Casamigos-infused cocktails paired specifically with Ruth's Chris's curated dishes... sounds great, right? Overall, the event was pretty dull. The hostess of the event didn't have much insight to offer about the tequila and honestly didn't seem comfortable being there; I've been to other tasting dinners that were run much better, and having been a Mexican-inspired menu, I would have loved having the room or even music themed more to the event - but that's not what you come to Ruth's Chris for... so let's move on to the food/drink. Specifically for this event, all of the cocktails were absolutely crushing it. Delicious and paired nicely with the food. The food on the the other hand was a mixed bag. It was really fun to see these new and inspired offerings from Ruth's Chris and the execution was decent, but the flavors, textures, and portions left a lot to be desired in most cases. But the real disappointment was in the filet. Normally, a Ruth's Chris filet is buttery tender and flavorful, but this hunk of meat on mine and my wife's plate was like trying to tear through a $10 filet from Aldi; rough, chewy, tough to cut, and just barely qualifying-enough to call it a 'filet'. The service was excellent though and everyone was super-friendly.
