Perfection at Barrington has returned! We were greeted by Eleanor who was delightfully charming and it shows that she really treasures her guests. She was kind and welcoming without being overbearing and asked if we were celebrating any event. It was my birthday yesterday and she made a special trip to bring us the cutest table sprinkle decorations and wish me well!! Our server was also a delight, Karen, she was very professional and warm. It’s been a long time since we were at a restaurant where the server seemed to truly enjoy delivering a wonderful experience to her guests. We have been to Ruth’s many times at many locations so we ordered right away but Karen assured us she would monitor the pace of the meal and it was perfect. Kudos to the chefs who once again cooked a perfect MR filet and perfect stuffed chicken. Thank you to the restaurant for the birthday dessert!! We could tell that the atmosphere and professionals at the Barrington location have worked hard to elevate the dining experience and we truly appreciate that!!

Filets were good, costly but good. Filet medallions, I wouldn’t recommend, they weren’t very good and seasoned with a lot of pepper. The fact that they were so overly seasoned made me question the quality of the meat.

Tried a new house wine. Delicious. Food was great as always. Amanda was our server. Friendly, keen sense of humor, attentive but not intrusive. Terrific dining experience.

Our service was awful. We have been coming to Ruth Chris for years. It is one of our favorite restaurants. Our bad experience was awful for due to the service provided by Nathan. He could care less about the service provided. .He brought out three wrong orders even when one of us mentioned an allergy. He completely ignored my request to keep the shrimp on a separate plate since I have an allergy, one of us had a dairy allergy and asked for the butter to be left off the steak and it was served with it on. Lastly,Nathan proceeded to bring out desserts for those whose dinner came with it without asking anyone else at the table if they wanted dessert or coffee. It was a huge miss. Nathan was aloof the entire time which is disappointing for a high class place of this nature. We were all underwhelmed by his slow service and continuously wrong orders. Three mistakes in one dinner is not ok. It definitely affected our experience.

It was hard to have a conversation, as it was very loud with bad acoustics. We could clearly hear the conversation several tables away. My “medium well” t-bone arrived burned and dry on the edges and overcooked throughout. A shame for such an expensive meal.

We used to come here a couple times a month and moved away. We have moved back and we wanted to make this our spot again but something was missing last night. The lobster bisque was watered down and had to be sent back. My wife’s steak wasn’t properly prepared. The service was just average. I was very disappointed. The only highlight was our bartender Mark was still there and excellent.

Our server Brandon was great. He gave great recommendations to me and helped my wife with ideas and suggestions to accommodate her Gluten Free & Dairy free needs. Steaks came out perfect.

I recently attended a cigar special event at Ruth's Chris Steak House, which was a new experience for me. The event was hosted on the patio, providing a perfect outdoor setting for the evening.
