    My wife and I (since we moved to Phoenix area full time in 2021) have celebrated her birthday at this Ruth’s Chris restaurant each year. We had a short wait while they prepped the table, and were seated promptly…. They had sprinkled the tablecloth with “Happy Birthday” glitter confetti which she loved! Leo, our server, was on the spot immediately and took great care without being too hovering all through out the evening. We had some fun banter throughout the meal. Food was excellent, everything was delicious and hot, he got her a full sized dessert (Happy Birthday written in chocolate on the late with a single birthday candle). She loved everything about the evening… so huge win for me!

    We were at the bar waiting for ten minutes before the bartender bothered to offer service and then did so with a surly attitude.

    The service and atmosphere were outshined only by the wonderful food. We always come to Ruth’s Chris to celebrate our anniversary and birthdays but the food is always perfect and so good I would recommend it for anytime you want to enjoy a great meal.

    Service and food were wonderful. Only negative are plates are too small to cut your steaks! Minor but worth noting.

    “I recently enjoyed an outstanding dining experience at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Scottsdale. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Latricia, provided exceptional service throughout the night—she was incredibly polite, professional, and attentive to every detail. We did experience a small hiccup with our steaks, which arrived a bit underdone. However, as soon as we caught the attention of a passing server named Rob, he immediately came to our table with a friendly and helpful attitude. Despite not being our designated server, he promptly handled the issue, ensuring our steaks were perfected and our experience continued smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious. The steaks, once adjusted, were perfectly cooked and melted in our mouths. We paired our meal with a lovely wine selection and finished off with a dessert that was the perfect ending to a memorable night. I can’t say enough about the wonderful service from both Latricia and Rob, as well as the excellent food and atmosphere. Thank you to Ruth’s Chris Scottsdale for an unforgettable evening!”

    I had high expectations going into dinner being that Ruth Chris is a nationwide name. From the moment we sat down the service was poor. The waiter took 20 minutes to get a glass of wine to me. In fact the appetizer arrived before the glass of wine. The table was so dark we couldn’t see the food we asked him why and he said the light was broken. We asked for an additional candle and he said he couldn’t do anything for us then the food came and it was the most overpriced low quality food we’ve had in Scottsdale. We go to a lot of steakhouses and couldn’t believe the prices they charged and the poor quality that came out of the kitchen. In fact, we had to return the Seabass because it was rubbery undercooked and had no flavor . The crabcakes were mushy and had a strong smell of fish that is not normal with crabcakes . Each of our entrées was close to $50 each . We would never go to this establishment again and we recommend that you skip it and go to one of the 20 other wonderful steakhouses in Scottsdale

    We headed to the Scottsdale Ruth's Chris. A wonderful location with a sizeable outside patio, although a cold breeze kept us inside. We've been to RC and Chicago several times. Leo was our server: attentive and professional. We were there for our 40th anniversary and the couple adjacent was celebrating #50. Leo was informative and helpful with menu items, never rushing us at any stage. Ribeye steaks were perfectly grilled and sizzling hot as desired. The creamed spinach is a must-have when dining at RC. Robust Malbec added to it all. Leo also offered a free shared cheesecake dessert. Very tasty. Leo enjoyed a 33% tip from us. The afternoon happy hour is also a fun time to stop at RC when the weather is neither too hot nor too cool to enjoy the patio. As Chicagoans with a winter home in Scottsdale, this location's service rivals Chicago restaurants in service and attention to detail. This is the exception that proves the rule as many Scottsdale locations of various restaurants are typically and noticeably inferior.
