Le Ruth's Chris Steak House a été fondé à la Nouvelle-Orléans, en Louisiane, par Ruth Fertel, une mère célibataire de deux enfants qui rêvait d'une vie meilleure pour elle et ses deux fils. Elle y a donc acheté le steakhouse « Chris » qui comptait déjà 38 ans d'activité au cours des années précédentes. Après un incendie qui l'a conduite à se déplacer de l'adresse d'origine, elle rebaptisa son restaurant « Ruth's Chris ». Aujourd'hui, il existe 142 steakhouses Ruth's Chris à travers le monde.

    Service was excellent from the hostess greeter to our server Ryan & his assistant Samantha. Timing of courses was very good. We will definitely be back.

    When we were sat at the table one of the menu’s given to us was missing the menu inside the booklet. Once we received our entrees we were notified that one of the sides was not available and to please order something else. Then the same thing happened for dessert, we ordered the chocolate cake and they came back to the table after the fact and said sorry we didn’t realize we do not have that as well. The service was good however the overall experience was not what we were expecting for a 5 star $270 meal.

    We were sat in the hottest section of the restaurant, literally sweating at our table. My steak was dry and the burnt butter on the plate is not a great smell.

    We had to return our steaks due to overcooking. Second round was no better. This was for our engagement dinner. Server did all he could but two hours into it, the evening was a flop. GM reached out. Said he would get back to me. $300+ wasted. In all fairness I need to point out this was right in between hurricane Helen and Milton.

    The quality of the food remains excellent, but I'm disappointed to see that the portions, particularly for the side dishes we ordered, are noticeably shrinking while the prices keep climbing. While the food is still great, the value that typically justifies dining at a high-end steakhouse is being undermined by these changes. It's disheartening to feel like we're getting less while paying more.

    Be VERY careful where you park! I parked in the front on the street. NO cones or barriers were up when we arrived. I also have a handicapped placard and there were no spots. When we completed our dinner, my vehicle was now surrounded by valet barriers for Ruth Chris on the street and I was given a parking ticket for $35. after spending well over $200 for our meal.

    Excellent service and food. We have been to RC many times, we both went outside our usual order, aside from the spinach. all were delicious but i found a small piece of plastic wrap tucked into the stuffed chicken. it was my anniversary so i did not tell anyone at your restaurant. it was a bit icky.

    The waitress was friendly but bus staff didn’t clean the plates off the table right away. For the high price restaurant, they should be trained to keep the table clean constantly.
