Le Ruth's Chris Steak House a été fondé à la Nouvelle-Orléans, en Louisiane, par Ruth Fertel, une mère célibataire de deux enfants qui rêvait d'une vie meilleure pour elle et ses deux fils. Elle y a donc acheté le steakhouse « Chris » qui comptait déjà 38 ans d'activité au cours des années précédentes. Après un incendie qui l'a conduite à se déplacer de l'adresse d'origine, elle rebaptisa son restaurant « Ruth's Chris ». Aujourd'hui, il existe 142 steakhouses Ruth's Chris à travers le monde.

We shared a New York strip and it was cooked perfectly and so delicious. One of the things we always love about Ruth Chris is the hot sizzling plate with the delicious butter on your steak. The chop salad is one of our favorites and of course good old standard baked potato on the side. our server was Mary Beth, and she was very attentive and did a great job.

Not the same Ruth’s Chris. Medium rare was more on the rare side. Jumbo Lobster tail was flat bs full and propped in its shell. Been a big fan for over 40 years but no longer.

The food was fabulous, however, it took 15 minutes to get wine. Dessert took 30 minutes and we had to flag down the server to ask about it. Then they didn’t even bother to put a candle on the cake with the server saying “I didn’t put a candle on the cake because you were in a hurry!” It was our mom’s 90th birthday and no consideration was given to that. The manager came over after we requested but it took her almost 10 minutes for her to come over. There were only 7 or 8 tables with customers in the restaurant. Very disappointed!

Well, for our 33rd wedding anniversary this was a meal to forget. Once we were seated it took a little time for bread. Drinks were ordered and apps. Then we ordered food. After one hour and tables behind us were served we asked why we did not had our appetizers (wife asked for a crabtini and every RC makes them but St Pete could not last night for whatever reason). My wife then went to the manager and asked where our food was and the kitchen lost our ticket so, we waited another 45 minutes for our steaks and sides. My wife’s steak was so salty she did not eat it and the mashed potato’s and mushrooms were cold when brought to the table. This was unacceptable and it will be a very long time before we go back to both the Tampa and St Petersburg RC steak houses.

Tyler gave wonderful service!!! Drinks and dinner came out quickly. He was very attentive and kind mannered. Always a pleasure.

Worst service. Server ignored us and delivered incomplete plates off of a pre fixed thanksgiving menu. Kept leaving out items and when we asked, he acted like he had no idea what was included. The runners gave us more attention.
