José was very attentive and professional. He is the best server we’ve ever had at the Westheimer location. He went above and beyond to make sure our experience was special. We will be sure to ask for him again the next time we are in Houston.

This was a 9/10 dining experience for me. I have been to just about every steakhouse in Houston but this one tops the cake. The ambience was very beautiful. I loved the quality of the chairs and the suede booths. I am a big mojito fan and I am very particular about how I like mine made and the bartender did not disappoint! I enjoyed the crab crakes, mostly crab meat without all the breading, the spinach dip was very tasty and tangy. My wedge salad I could have done without, I couldn't even taste the bacon. The steaks were cooked to perfection! They were juicy, flavorful and so tender. I would recommend getting your steak cooked one above what you prefer because it comes out on a sizzling 500 degree plate and that cooks it even more as you are eating it. I got my steak med-well with a blue cheese crust and Oscar style. It was superb! The sides did not disappoint either. The lobster macaroni was so cheesy and good. The lobster was vey tender and not overcooked. The brussel sprouts were sweet and tender and the bacon pieces added that smoky flavor. Delicious! The cheesecake dessert was on the house but I did not enjoy it. It was too dense for my liking, but the creme brûlée stole the night's ending! It was so light, creamy and fluffy. The crunch from the sugar and the velvety brûlée was excellent! This is a fantastic restaurant and I will be back with my fiancé to share the experience!

Very good food, the steaks are excellent. Jose did a good job of taking care of our party of 6, efficient but never hovering. We had an early reservation (5:30 pm) and were surprised to be the only table in the entire restaurant. A few more tables came in before we left....guessing Houston people don't eat early. All in all, an excellent experience.

I mean. Every year we can. We come back for an anniversary date night. We try to during the week because it’s much less crowded and just don’t enjoy a packed restaurant anymore. Food. Drinks. And dessert have always been on point. I just wish this kind of service etc. was done like this every where. Places and people just don’t care about the quality of service or the food like they use to. I mean regardless of your job. You should take pride in what you do everyday. It keeps me coming back. I feel this is why restaurants are closing because people are just tired of what they’re getting for the money.

I’ve dined at Ruth Chris at locations all over the states. This was disappointing with regard to the level and professionalism of the staff. Just expected a little more.
