My $240.00 birthday dinner exhibited the following: A lack of timely service by the wait staff. The failure of the wait staff to bring Tabasco for my gumbo. The lack of garlic in the garlic mashed potatoes. A rubbery petite lobster tail. And a parade of small children running back and forth through the dining room from an event room adjacent to our table. It's been a while since I dined at Ruths Chris and it will be a long time before I can be convinced to try them again.

We frequent Ruth’s Chris however the reason for the four stars instead of five is not allowing a corkage fee to open our favorite wine that we brought. It was a celebratory evening with my mom and wife and we weren’t permitted to have our bottle opened, we ordered cocktails but we were going to do that anyways. The service by Joe was also note worthy however we did have to ask for replacement side plates and a new set of silverware upon receiving our entrees. Other than that it’s a great consistent representation of the brand!

Dropped in for our anniversary and admittedly didn’t have the highest of expectations but we were pleasantly surprised at our experience. We typically go the Atlanta steakhouse route (Hal’s Bones Chops etc.) but we got a gift card earlier in the year and decided to use it. Our server Aidan? was excellent. She was professional, attentive and not overly there. Food was very good - got the filet with the blue cheese crust (cooked perfect mid rare) the potatoes, wedge salad, creamed spinach and shrooms. All cooked and seasoned very well. Wife had the harvest salad and she was very groovy with it as a vegetarian option. The food wasn’t as high quality as some higher end places but the cook was very good. I was happy and we had a very nice experience. CHEERS to the staff and we will be back!
