Ruth's is a staple in the Steakhouse industry. You will get the same quality food at all the locations. Overall experience was great.

Ruth Chris Steakhouse was our go to place. They redid it less than 2 years ago so we decided to visit for our Anniversary on a Saturday Night. Mistake. The main room with the splendid atmosphere was made smaller to accommodate the bar area. Had no choice but to sit in the old party room in the back. No luster and total lack of atmosphere. Food was good as we ordered the Cowboy Rib Eye and several side dishes. If we ever go back it will be on a Weekday Night.

The waitress Lysha was an absolute doll. I truly appreciated her professionalism, she was funny, sweet and kind. The staff was so polite especially Dalilia she was beyond helpful with the execution of my husbands surprise birthday dinner. I will definitely be returning to this location mainly because of my wonderful experience that my family and I had tonight.

We sat down for Bourbon tasting. Food was tasty, but quantity was low. For example, first course was an oyster (only one for person). It would have been better to serve more for that price. In addition, the bourbon was only servec in mixed cocktails and not served straight which I thought took away from this experience.

Very pleasant staff and outstanding waitress! Appetizers great . Steaks outstanding. Lobster was not. First one was not cooked, second one tasted like low tide. Sides? Don’t bother. Cold asparagus, cold mushrooms and sour tasting potatoes AU gratin. $13 desert was to be compared with hostess! Won’t be going back!

My husband and I would go to Ruth's Chris for our anniversary and birthdays on a regular basis over the last 20 years. We live close by in Garden City so it was convenient and the food and service were always the best. We stopped going during COVID and hadn't been back until now, for my husband's 70th birthday. The ambience changed since then and although I liked the new look , my husband didn't. He liked the old mural on the wall with the tiger and I thought the new lighter look and new ceiling lights were nice. I gave ambience only four stars because I'm combining my opinion and my husband's together in one review! Food was delicious as always. My husband raved about the ravioli appetizer and both of our steaks were delicious, but my husband couldn't get over the $71 charge for a 16 ounce steak, even with inflation. I gave the rating for value four stars for that reason and also because I felt the drinks are overpriced. Service was fine and our waiter was a friendly young man. I gave service four stars because we waited quite a while for our food. It was a Friday night and very busy, and although our appetizer was served fairly quickly, our steaks arrived about 30-40 minutes after we finished our appetizer. I was used to Ruth's Chris handling crowds with ease and don't recall ever waiting long in the past. My husband didn't mind as he just ordered more drinks! Since I was driving and therefore not drinking much, the wait seemed much longer to me... My only real disappointment was that there was hardly an acknowledgement of my husband's birthday. The waiter did ask if this was an occasion and wished my husband happy birthday, but in the past, when I indicated it was a special occasion when making the reservation, the table had little decorations on it and a card too. The waiters used to come out with a piece of cake nicely plated and acknowledge the birthday. Guess those days are gone and I felt it.

Made the reservation 2 weeks in advance. They sat us by the front door. We ordered a arrow head and as people walked by everyone stopped to take a look over the food. The mash potatoes tasted like box potatoes. 100 dollar wine that was actually 8 bucks and tasted bad.

Always a great experience. Our server Michael was attentive and personable. Ruth’s Chris is a must visit when you’re in Garden City.

Lysha was an excellent server; friendly, knowledgeable, and conversational. This time around we ordered a porterhouse for 2, medium rare. Cook was perfect, portion size was perfect, and love the hot butter that it’s served on top of. All of these aspects have been consistent throughout all of the locations I’ve visited (Jacksonville, Denver, Houston, and now Westbury). I wonder what location will be next!
