    Not the best evening. Lots of delays, and it all started with getting seated. We got orders in but soups and salads never came out, when soups and salads came out finally a waiter also brought our meals, so salads, soups, steaks and sides all arrived together; our table could barely accommodate 5 people’s worth of food so much was dropped off at once…. No real care or concern, just the offer to take our food back and keep it warm, but we all decided we’d rather have the food fresh than stuck back under heat lamps…. Everyone has off nights, but this evening was a disappointment for sure with no attempt to even make it right or offer to attempt to make it right.

    Dexter gave us great service. The Petit and regular Filets we ordered were cooked to perfection. Sweet potato casserole was just as good as a side as a desert. The only thing that was a little bit of a drag was getting to the restaurant. We had to practically walk around the whole building to figure out how to get inside. The restaurant is in a hotel and the entrance to the hotel is no where near the Ruth Chris sign where we started to figure out how to get inside. All and all we enjoyed the dinner.

    Worst experience ever at Ruth’s Chris. And I’m a HUGE fan. Service was beyond terrible. Brace yourself: 1. Brought a wine bottle from home. Had to ask our server 3 times to open and decant. He finally got it. He couldn’t open the bottle and as I see him struggling, I let him know I want it decanted. What does he do? He walks away with the bottle and comes back with a decanter full of wine. Dude, you ALWAYS decant a customer’s wine table side, even if they brought it from home ($45 corkage fee). I had to ask for the cork back to make sure the wine was OK. He brings it and says: sorry, it broke. (Yeah, no kidding, I saw you struggling opening the bottle… which was probably the first bottle you ever opened). 2. Asked for an extra dry martini. He brings me an extra dirty martini. I told him: this looks extra dirty not extra dry. He says: it is extra dirty. What does extra dry mean? 3. I asked for a charred steak. Was your steak charred? Mine wasn’t either. 4. Check comes in. Guess what. Charged for the martini twice…. As in we’re gonna charge you for the martini you didn’t order and you didn’t drink because WE SUCK. Look, I know know it’s hard to find good people and train them and retain them. I get it. But the customer is coming expecting a certain level of experience and the customer is certainly PAYING for that experience. And it is on you to make that happen. Oh, and please, get bigger plates! When my steak barely fits on my plate, where am I supposed to put my sides???

    Not up to usual standards. Could not get water refilled even after asking. Dry steaks, slow service. Very noisy, waiters gossiping on phones huddled up to side. One stormed of saying F this S super loud. Waste of.money.

    Server was friendly and personal able. Steak was over cooked and like jerky for $70. The Au Gratin potatoes were not cooked enough and cold as well as the spinach. Very disappointing.

    It wasn’t special. I’ve had equal or better experiences at a lower cost, basic chain like LongHorn. I’ve been to Ruth’s Chris in SLC, UT and it was worth the extra coin. I’d definitely eat there again. For this location, there was nothing bad about the food or service, but there was nothing special about it either. It was like going to a place that sells $30-35 steaks, not $60-100 steaks. That being said, the sweet potato casserole was great! I’m a dessert person, and it tasted like a dessert. Like sweet potato pie without the crust. That was the highlight of the visit.

    We have eaten at quite a few Ruth’s Chris locations and this particular location once before. I like new your strip steaks. I like the fat down the side and the fact the rest of the steak is lean like a filet, almost. You get the flavor from the fat with the option not to eat it. This particular strip had a lot of gristle in it. I did not have many pieces that did not have some. I ate what I could and what I did eat had little to no flavor. I started to send the steak back considering I paid $59 for it, but I stupidly said nothing. My wife had the filet medallions that came with shrimp. Her steak tasted like shrimp. We were very excited to eat together at this establishment, but were disappointed. Maybe we will just go back to Morton’s next date night and try that again. It was good our last visit.
