My wife and I enjoyed our time at Ruth’s Chris! The ambience, the food, the conversation, our server Mike, everything was great as we celebrated our wedding anniversary here on the east coast for the first time!!! We will definitely be back. Not to mention the gentleman Brian, who shared his life with us and ensured we were taken care of. 10/10 ⭐️

Waitress seemed preoccupied with other tables. Had to ask for water. Waitress didn't ask if we wanted anything from the bar. Filet was perfect. Crab cakes were nothing special. Brussel Sprouts were not of the standard we usually expect at Ruth's Chris. Waitress took the order and never returned until we asked for the bill. Took 10 minutes to get the bill after asking, took 20 minutes to return to get it. Menu looked very worn with drink page missing. Use to brag about this place. We won't be back. Certainly not what you're expecting when you pay over $200 for 2. What a disappointing experience.

Overall, very good. Tremendous views of the Washington Monument, the Capital building, and the Potomac. Food was good. Steaks were brought out too soon after salads were delivered to our table. As a result, they had to go back and were slightly overcooked. Side dish and dessert were average. Salad was excellent.

One of my favorite views and ambience experiences at restaurant. Please continue to get better overall but great product.

Made reservations for birthday dinner. We were seated in the bar area. It was very active and loud. Views were super. Drinks before dinner were excellent. We both ordered filet steaks medium, and confirmed we wanted “pink in the middle”. They came out sizzling. They looked very different sized - one was think and one was flat. The server didn’t stop to ask us to check the inside, and left immediately. Once cutting into the steaks, one was done perfectly and one was very overdone. Once it reached final temp it was medium well, with zero pink. The steak cooked correctly was excellent. The other - not so good. When laying the price we did, at a Ruth’s Chris, we expected quality from start to finish. As far as dessert, the cheesecake was generally excellent. Parts of it had a burnt or chemical taste. It’s almost like they used some kind of torch to light the birthday candle and it left a burnt fuel taste in areas. Overall - pretty meh. Next celebration or craving for steak, we’ll try one of the other steak restaurants on the block. (Morton’s or McCormick and Schmicks)

We waited nearly a half hour for our dessert and couldn’t find our waitress on multiple occasions. I dont believe it was our waitresses fault- she was clearly covering multiple sections and the kitchen may have been behind. But a 30 minute wait for dessert? At Ruth’s Chris? Management can do better.

I celebrated my 13th anniversary today, and it was amazing. As always, my NY stripe was good, and our waiter, Aziz, was very attentive.
