The Caesar salad without dressing was wonderful and a small dip into the dressing made it perfect. The sizzling crab cakes was delicious as was a side of asparagus with Hollandaise sauce. My dinner partner had never been to a Ruth’s Cris restaurant can not wait to go back.

The quality of the food has gone downhill and fast. The scallop potatoes were undercooked with no seasoning and a little bit of cheese on top the creamed spinach look like spinach and artichoke dip and was tasteless The steak was fatty to say the least, and it was a fillet and they don’t have carpaccio anymore, my last visit to Ruth CHRIS was last night. Our waiter was fantastic. The quality of the food was subpar and the clientele has shifted dramatically so I guess you can get away with that kind of stuff because that clientele is used to eating at Applebee’s and Cracker Barrel.

Conner was our waiter, and he was great. He was there when we needed something, but didn’t hover. Food was great. Was a really enjoyable dinner!!

I ordered a New York Strip rare plus. It came back cooked medium. Since even bad steak is good I ate it and would not have shared my experience on this site. However, when I pointed it out to the waitress, she said there was nothing she could do since I ate most of it. Had she checked in on us earlier I would have pointed this out. She then proceeded to tell me the 500 degree plate overcooks steaks sometimes. All I really wanted was an apology. I paid and tipped generously since there was a party of five and we split the bill. I eat a high end steakhouses a lot and this is the first time I had a steak that was not close to what I ordered.

As the CEO of a local organization, I understand that dinner plans for my guests can change on short notice. After making a reservation for three people using OpenTable, I received a call that two more would join us. Ruth's Chris Steak House in Ann Arbor has consistently delivered exceptional food and service, and reservations are seamless. Additionally, parking on Sundays is particularly convenient, thanks to the adjacent City of Ann Arbor parking lot, which offers over 700 open spaces.

The steaks were good, but. It better than other steakhouses in this price range. The cocktail menu was disappointing- had several staples on it, almost unique or interesting. Wife asked the waiter to ask the bartender to make a “mule-style cocktail”, we got a flavored sparkling water; she didn’t say exactly what she wanted, so that’s as much her as them, but it was less than I expect at this price. Our water glasses were empty several times throughout the night. The sides were good, and about what you’d expect. The corn side was especially good, as was the goat cheese appetizer dip. Overall had a nice dinner with good food. But at this price, that’s not enough for me to come back. There are better options.
