Food was great, as it was the last few times we came in. Same goes for service. Prices are high but you know that going in as it’s a fancier place and the food is pretty close to “you get what you pay for”.

The Caesar salad without dressing was wonderful and a small dip into the dressing made it perfect. The sizzling crab cakes was delicious as was a side of asparagus with Hollandaise sauce. My dinner partner had never been to a Ruth’s Cris restaurant can not wait to go back.

The quality of the food has gone downhill and fast. The scallop potatoes were undercooked with no seasoning and a little bit of cheese on top the creamed spinach look like spinach and artichoke dip and was tasteless The steak was fatty to say the least, and it was a fillet and they don’t have carpaccio anymore, my last visit to Ruth CHRIS was last night. Our waiter was fantastic. The quality of the food was subpar and the clientele has shifted dramatically so I guess you can get away with that kind of stuff because that clientele is used to eating at Applebee’s and Cracker Barrel.

As a franchise restaurant, it’s odd that some locations have different options (e.g. this location doesn’t have thousand island dressing for a wedge salad). Dessert was a joke. Ordered fruit with extra crème fraiche. Receive a bowl of crème fraiche with, no joke, eight pieces of berries.
