I had the ribeye and being a Texan and someone who eats out at high end restaurants all the time I had very high expectations based on the cost of the steak and I was underwhelming. The steak was then and coated in this au jus which was disgusting. The smoked mashed potatoes tasted like boxes mashed potatoes in liquid smoke. All in all I would NOT recommend this place to anyone looking g for a nice steak dinner. The waitress was amazing but the food and the table scape (wine glasses were very poor quality. They sou dress like plastic) left me wanting more.

Hi Kimberly. Sorry you were unhappy with your steak,we definitely do not use liquid smoke in our potatoes' and they are made in house and smoked in our smoker, maybe in Texas they use liquid smoke , we certainly do not , this is the first complaint of that nature we have had, also we do not use an au jus , its a glace d viande with is cooked in a process that takes 3 days and is generally enjoyed by many, Our beef is all prime grade proudly Albertan and its the same quality beef we have been using for many years Your comments on the table ware and dress like plastic leaves me confused, however again we are sorry you were unhappy with what was served to you.

The dining room was cool, some of the food was cold Never offered coffee or dessert, even though they knew it was my wife’s birthday

Service was excellent. Meals were very good and tasty. But I do feel for the cost of the halibut meal the mashed potatoes should have been hot. We advised the staff and they asked the kitchen to prepare another portion which came after my husband had nearly finished the meal.

Too bad we found this place on our last night. Food service and views amazing. We would highly recommend if you are looking for great food and service where you are not rushed out!!

Out of courtesy we will always side with the customer,perception is important, it is Rusticas policy not to argue with a customer even if they may not always understand the doneness of what they ordered. One waitress for the entire restaurant. Sat for almost half an hour before even receiving my pre-dinner cocktail. Server never inquired about a wine with the meal, just hauled the wine list away. Food was good once it finally arrived (again, more lack of servers to deliver dishes than the meal preparation time).

I needed help planning a surprise proposal for my girlfriend, I reached out to the manager Laurent and he was so helpful with planning and responded quickly to my emails and informative. When I arrived to dinner Phoebe was also very helpful with the surprise. Service, food, and drinks were great. The whole staff took very good care of us and made us feel welcome and provided an unforgettable experience. The views were magnificent as well. Looking forward to visit again next time we’re in town.

Had great service and beautiful view but the food took over an hour after ordering to come out. Everything was very salty as well. But it was a beautiful view on the patio and we enjoyed our evening.

Hello , Sorry your food and timing were not up to your expectations,it is the norm in our summer season for each course to take around 30 minutes, which isn't unusual in higher end dining, as we make everything fresh and do not pre cook anything so its not started until the order is received, if we are busy and the time it does slow us down,the average stay in our dining room is 2 to 3 hours , sorry you were not happy with your meals, we have addressed the saltiness with our culinary team, Sorry Again.
