Steak was not cooked to order (they must have used wrong sous vide bag), duck was ok but risotto was watery, mushrooms were okay as well but of the 4-5 times I’ve had them there these were my least favorite

The food was not worth the cost. Almost every dish was incorrectly prepared. Steaks were either not cooked to order, too rare or too well done. The New York strip was tough and chewy. Side vegetables were slimy or too tough and dry. The mussels in the appetizer weren't cooked properly, some of the shells were still closed. The best parts of the meal was the crisp dessert and their house wine, pretty disappointing. The staff was friendly and kind and the space was warm and cozy.

Very disappointing food. I’ve eaten here dozens of times. Nothing worked tonight. The cassoulet was without flavor. The lamb sausage was like a brick and the duck was overcooked and stringy. The beans were runny and had the texture of canned beans. The bread pudding was dry and stale. Thank heaven I ordered caramel on the side. The service and ambiance are still good, but if the food doesn’t improve next time, there won’t be another time. There were four of us; none of us was happy with our meal.

Wonderful server, and front desk greeter. Others who helped serve (water and cocktails) also very friendly and helpful. Great dining experience, not rushed, so time to enjoy the meal, drinks and our dining companions.

Arrived 20 min early for our reservation and was referred to the bar to wait. Ordered a Mojito and a vodka rocks. The Mojito lacked mint and simple syrup and frankly was overdosed with lime juice. We moved on to dinner at our reservation time. I attempted to order an Andrew Wells Sorella only to find that they were out of stock. Also attempted to order the lamb only to find that it too, was sold out. As an alternative ordered the cassoulet which turned out to be nothing more than a white bean soup with lamb sausage, and duck. While we’ve had many great experiences at Russell’s certainly this dinner was far from meeting expectations.
