Staff was good but we waited a bit long for service. Everyone was kind and helpful, plating was beautiful. Food servings were generous.

Roy's remains one of the best places to experience fusion cuisine. Nowhere else can you enjoy crispy, roasted brussel sprouts augmented with a sinful parmesan cream sauce or barbequed king salmon counter-balanced with soy-marinated rice noodles. The chefs make seemingly incompatible foods and flavors come together brilliantly. My advice: pick a dish where the core component is something you love (beef, shellfish, duck) and trust that the preparation/additions will make it different (and better) than any other restaurant you visit.

Service was excellent. Our Brie appetizer was excellent The brisket that my husband got was so salty he could not eat it. I got the garlic shrimp and tempura rock shrimp. The rock shrimp were excellent. The garlic shrimp was ok. The garlic shrimp that I I got at the abc store was way more flavorful than the shrimp at Roy’s. Overall disappointed in the food flavor. We have been prior and it was excellent. We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary and was expecting great food. 😣

Roy’s Ko Olina is a fantastic dining experience - one we keep coming back to over and over again. The food and drinks are exceptional, the service is efficient and professional, and the ambiance is extremely friendly and cordial - truly Ohana!

This was not our first time here and have had several great experiences here before. We decided to come here for our anniversary because we wanted to stay close to home but wanted some place with good food and service. This night was not as we had expected. The host was very pleasant and we were seated almost immediately when we checked in. The busser was very attentive, she immediately filled our glasses with water after we were seated. And after we placed our orders, she brought my daughter her complimentary appetizer. The server on the other hand, was not so attentive. We placed our drink orders and wanted to place appetizer orders but he ran away right after he took the drink order. Fine, no worries, we placed it when he came back with the drinks. (When he drops off the flight of sake to my husband, gives no explanation of what each one is.) We also placed our dinner orders at the same time: keiki salmon for my daughter, fillet mignon (medium) for me and ribeye (medium rare) for my husband. The runner brings our appetizer and places it right in front of me and gives me a pair of chopsticks. I tried to stop him to get another pair for my husband but he ran off. Good thing the server did catch this. He moved the appetizer to the center of the table and brings plates and more chopsticks. Entrees arrived and I cut a piece of my filet and see it’s well done. I cut into the center instead and she it’s medium well. Ok fine, whatever, I’ll just deal with it. My husband cuts into his ribeye and sees it’s cooked rare. The server finally comes by to see drop off a dessert menu since and also asks how it is well past our first bite of food and I replied, “OK.” You can clearly see by the cuts of steak on both plates they were not cooked as we ordered. But he’s off again. Came back to ask if we decided on dessert. Dessert was delicious! Left a 15% tip because server was inattentive. Didn’t ask to refill drinks, not even alcohol. Only around the bare minimum.

The food was absolutely wonderful the waiter was great and had a good vibe, his name is Quinn, and the entertainment was superb.
