It’s winter in Providence and we’re keeping cozy on the Rooftop at the Providence G. With its perch seven stories up in the center of downtown, enjoy enclosed, heated dining, or the open air fireside experience and live music at our restaurant & lounge.

Featuring an insulated glass rooftop, fire pits and private lounges, it is possible to enjoy city skylines and starry nights throughout the year.

Private Firepit Experience
Plusieurs dates disponibles
Private Firepit Dining (8-12 people) Enjoy your own private firepit on the Rooftop Friday and Saturday late nights. Private fire pits can be reserved for 6-15 people by meeting a $55 per person food and beverage minimum (up to 8 guests). For groups between 9-15 guests a $500 food and beverage minimum spend will need to be met. Guests must be over 21 years of age nightly after 9pm. In the event of inclement weather, if you have booked an outdoor table, we recommend you rebook your reservation to another date. Due to a limited number of indoor seats, we may not be able to accommodate your outside reservation.

Treat yourself, or your guest of honor to a Birthday Experience on the Rooftop! Celebrating an upcoming birthday for yourself, family member or friend? Enjoy the Rooftop’s Birthday Experience, a new celebratory add-on package to your existing reservation for dinner and/or drinks. Make a birthday celebration extra special with dessert (guests can choose off the dessert menu), a show-stopping sparkler candle and sparkling wine toast. Our full menu is available for ordering in addition to this add-on.
Fire Pit Seating
Plusieurs dates disponibles
General fire pit seating can be reserved for 2-4 people by meeting a $55 per person food and beverage minimum on Fridays & Saturdays until the kitchen closes at 11pm. All firepit seating is limited to 2 hours per reservation. Guests must be over 21 years of age nightly after 9pm. Minimums for shared firepits are waived Sunday through Thursday, still with the exception of (guaranteed) Private Firepit experiences, in which the minimum spend still applies. In the event of inclement weather, if you have booked an outdoor table, we recommend you rebook your reservation to another date. Due to a limited number of indoor seats, we may not be able to accommodate your outside reservation.

They duped me in my reservation. The offer times on open table they cannot commit too.

Originally booked fire table, did not know it was shared with other parties. So we moved to a normal table.

Pros: Our server was great! Very kind, patient and attentive. The food was delicious and came out quickly. The atmosphere wasn’t too loud at all. Cons: We chose to sit by the fire pit because the weather was great. It rained earlier in the day, so the backs of the chairs were a little wet, but not too bad. It was difficult to eat at the fire pit (if you sit there, you need to accrue a minimum of $55 per person) because of the height of the fire pit and the slant of the chairs. As it got later into the evening, it was very dark (there are no lights on the side where we sat, which would’ve been OK if we had the fire going, but it was pretty warm so we didn’t want to turn on the fire pit.) All in all, it was a nice evening.

We had an amazing time here, and it was made even better by our fabulous server, Emma! We were celebrating an anniversary and she was so friendly and fun! We have already told people about how nice this place is. We were visiting providence for the first time and spending a long weekend, our friends recommended this place and now I know why! Please go and see for yourself, it is worth the trip!

Came here for my birthday, we bought the birthday package which says we can pick our own dessert. The waitress was not attentive what so ever. She gave us “complimentary Prosecco” which was nice, but when we paid 15$ a person for the birthday package it includes the Prosecco so it was NOT complimentary. Had to find her to mention that we had the birthday package at all (she didn’t know or wasn’t informed that we had it) and she brought out horrible little lemon cakes and we did not in fact get to choose our dessert. Not worth it. Because our party was a party of 6 automatic gratuity was included so our server gave us terrible service knowing she was getting the tip regardless. She apologized knowing she was giving us bad service (it was not busy) and continued to give us bad service after the fact. We were extremely disappointed in our experience and will likely not go back due to the service we received.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was beautiful, we went on a rainy night and it was still well worth the trip although we had to sit on the enclosed section. The food and drinks were just WOW! Did not miss a beat, we enjoyed both mocktails and cocktails. Plenty of options for NA folks. The artichokes and the Rhode Island fish were just jaw dropping - and a must order. Everything was just above and beyond expectations! Cannot use enough adjectives to describe the quality of service and food. We live in NYC and honestly was better than most restaurants I’ve been to in the city.

10 of us around a fire pit eating- drinking- laughing beneath the open sky. We all had a great time. Wonderful atmosphere.

Amazing restaurant absolutely beautiful night. Great food, Great service, best artichokes app and best banana bread pudding that I ever. Fantastic atmosphere.

Sloan was our server and she was awesome!! She was on top of everything we needed and was knowledgeable about the menu. Everyone on the rooftop delivers exceptional service and is super friendly, from front of house to back! Thank you Miranda and Chef Andrew for making sure we had an amazing time and accommodating to my aunts pineapple allergy. Thank you to Maddie and Jill for stopping by and saying hi to the family. We’ll definitely be back.
